Thank you for this list. It was very helpful for me starting out with the s6 lite tab and not knowing what accessories to buy. I had already ordered one of the book covers and some screen protectors. I'll also be purchasing a keyboard, mouse, stand, and tripod for taking photos in the future.
Thanks for the heads up! Let me post a link in the comments. Don't forget though, apparently this does not connect with a monitor. I actually ordered it (live in Greece) and it gives a keyboard and mouse as part of the product, is it worth it? I mean for typing works and things like that is it good? Is it also good for gaming?? And the mouse it gives is a logi , don't really know a lot about it but, is it good?
This tablet compares to a lot of $300 to $350 phones, at least the ones that released a year ago or so. It doesn't have the processor of a $650 flagship smartphone, so it won't play games on very high graphics and it won't be a multi-tasking powerhouse. If you are buying this you really have to look through the lens of a $300 device. It will work great for typing out short documents. It will may most games just fine on medium or lower settings. It comes with an s-pen and 4GB of RAM, and at least in the US the price dropped a lot during the holiday season, so it's been a really really good value. This tablet is good in many areas, so it's a good deal for $250 to $300 US. I can't say how the tablet market is in your area and whether it's a good value where your live, but it's a pretty solid choice here if you want a decent tablet but you don't want to spend a ton of money

hi good day, I just bought one of this unit together with a keyboard and the store just give me keyboard for S6 model. are they compatible? and how can I connect it to my tab since it is not a blutooth Thanks for your respond. it will highly appreciated
No they are not compatible. The S6 Lite only works with Bluetooth keyboards, which is why I recommend something like the Logitech K380. Honestly I'd say you will get a better typing experience compared to the regular Samsung keyboard anyway with larger keys. Other Bluetooth keyboards will also work. But no it cannot work with any Samsung keyboard that uses the pins at the bottom to attach
That's correct. You could use something like a Chromecast to cast your screen to a TV or a projector... The usb port is only usb 2.0 I believe. If I remember right it needs to be usb 2.1. or maybe it's 3.1. I can't remember what I said in the video. Either way, the main point is that the capability just isn't built into the usb c port. Just how it is
You also can use Apple Usbc to hdmi adapter and Logitec K400+. The HDMI feature doesn't work at all. I use it only for the K800+ USB bluetooth adaptor. For that it works fine.
@@RedPanda_00806 The tab s6 lite is the only tablet in the lineup to have usb 2.0 despite being a usb C connector. So it doesn't support video output since it doesn't have the data capabilitues. Any other tablet from the Tab S lineup does have usb 3.0 or better. I use de adaptor only for keyboard. The information I put above is wrong, sorry for that. The only way of using a TV is through Smart Mirroring software. But using de Apple Adaptor you can work fine with K400+.
I don't know a lot about keyboards, so sorry if I sound like a real newbie but I was wondering do all keyboards connect to the Samsung s6 lite? Or is it just some ones? Thank you if you reply, I would really appreciate it! :)
I believe I have that same Anker product, and I have the Galaxy Tab A7. I've gotten it to plug into my TV before, but for some reason it's not working now. I have it all plugged in and on the right channel, but I'm not getting any signal. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong? When I Google it everything keeps saying I'll get a notification on my tablet saying something is plugged in, but I'm not. I'm getting it saying USB is plugged in, but it only thinks it's to charge it, rather than put it out to the TV. Any ideas?
The Galaxy Tab A7 isn't supposed to work with a TV. I'm not trying to say you didn't get it to work before, I can't say in your case, but it only has USB 2.0 which isn't supposed to be able to work with any TV. The S6 Lite and the Tab A7 both have these usb 2.0 ports. So I don't see any way that you will be successful. Now if you ask me why it somehow worked once, I have no idea. But it's not supposed to work

Hi! Nice video! Maybe I missed something, but is it possible to connect and use the m350 and the K380 at the same time on S6 Lite? If not, can You recommend any keyboard/mouse combo what will work on that at the same time? Thanks!
Yes, they are both bluetooth and connect at the same time. Most of the combos that I'm finding on the internet are built primarily for windows so the keyboard won't have quite the same functionality as something like the K380. The M535 is a little bit of a bulkier mouse that will work. But it's louder from my experience and the same price anyway. As long as you get bluetooth devices, they can connect at the same time, the m350.and the k380 work together great
Question, can I buy a bluetooth mouse and keyboard combo where there is only one attachment, will both mouse and keyboard work efficiently with the Tab S6 Lite? I just want the best bang for my buck.
If you are referring to buying a keyboard or a mouse with a usb receiver... That run wirelessly based on that receiver Honestly I'm not sure. I haven't tested that. Maybe you don't mean that, maybe you are referring to a keyboard that has a trackpad on it? Yes, if you get a bluetooth keyboard with a trackpad, I do believe that will work. I haven't tested it, but it should with just fine. I don't expect it to save you much money, but if you like trackpads it can be convenient. There are also bluetooth mouse and keyboard combos that are bluetooth, that are sold together, you might save a few bucks on those. The reason why I prefer the Logitech k380 is because it also has certain keyboard combinations for Android. There's a button to turn up and down the volume for media for example. Some Bluetooth keyboards you find are 100% built for Windows and their media functions won't work at all on Android. Hopefully that answers some of your questions. Feel free to clarify and I'll be happy to help
It depends on the game. Generally speaking though most games do not work with a mouse or keyboard. There may be an app that can help with that, I'm not too sure. The most games are designed for touch input, and most apps too. So most apps will treat your mouse like it's your finger touching on the screen, And you won't see all of the features that you find in a mouse that you will find on windows. Hopefully this helps
Select the color on Amazon and look at the pictures. I have links in the description to each type. One with the pocket and one without. They come in different colors
Weird question but is the pen facing the right way? The pen will magnetize two different ways, pretty sure the tip needs to face the camera. You may have an issue if it is super weak though.

Thanks for subscribing! So there are no magnetic attachments. You have to use Bluetooth keyboards. The Logitech K380 is a great keyboard, us link in the description. Arteck makes decent Bluetooth keyboards too. I prefer the Logitech myself though
Yes the outside is made of cloth. I personally really like the material though. I find that the texture of the cloth is grippier than most cases, a lot of cases are extremely smooth on the outside but I think the fabric actually gives it a little bit of grip.
When you say it works with a monitor... How did you test this? What did you personally use to get it to work? I know it works with samsung dex, but monitor support can be different
@@AndroidDigest I tried it with a USB C - usb A adapter, then plugged a USB A to HDMI adapter in to that. It only worked that way for some reason. I also have a chromecast and it works so much easier with that. The simpler method is to use a chromecast in my book.

So most apps will treat your mouse like it's your finger touching on the screen, And you won't see all of the features that you find in a mouse that you will find on windows.
Hopefully this helps
so you cant use a hub to connect to hdmi?
Correct. It won't work. It's usb c 2.0
Does that mouse work on the S6 lite?
Yes the mouse I mentioned does work. The m355 or m350
Can we use the keyboard and mouse simultaneously with the tablet?
I think the word you were looking for to describe the material on the inside of the cover is "grippy".
Yes 🤣
It’s not powerlink it’s displaylink . It’s a chip inside the hub and works with an app called displaylink presenter.
The infanland case without the pocket, is that the black or grey model?
It technically says gray. Though it does have black on the case
Select the color on Amazon and look at the pictures. I have links in the description to each type. One with the pocket and one without. They come in different colors
@@AndroidDigest Thank you!
Can i use the mouse and the keyboard on the same time ?
Yes a mouse and keyboard will work at the same time
@@AndroidDigest thx
I just bought it but the magnet isn't so strong... the pen is moving from its place... Does anyone else have this problem?
Weird question but is the pen facing the right way? The pen will magnetize two different ways, pretty sure the tip needs to face the camera. You may have an issue if it is super weak though.
Nice video. Very informative and well done. I have the tab and recently bought a keyboard. So, Now I'm looking for a case the will hold the S6 lite AND the bluetooth keyboard. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
Hai. I am planning to buy this for my college . There are typing works have to be done. So can u say some keyboards which is attachable to the s6 lite like the samsung have one for s6. And also I ur new subscriber 👍
Thanks for subscribing!
So there are no magnetic attachments. You have to use Bluetooth keyboards.
The Logitech K380 is a great keyboard, us link in the description. Arteck makes decent Bluetooth keyboards too. I prefer the Logitech myself though
Why my new tab s6 lite cannot connect otg?..
I love his voice
Thank you! That's a rare compliment that I don't often get but I'll take it
Is there something to cast to laptop?
If your laptop has an hdmi port you could use the anker usb c hub, which comes with an hdmi port. That SHOULD work
How much free space does it have?
I can't remember, I think it was around 50 to 52GB after all the android files
Great video. Does it work with Logitech K 480?
It does! It will with any bluetooth keyboard
I need a bummer and i have samsung dex
The usbc work with a bummer
Si, claro, te re entiendo.😅
[In english:]
Yeah sure i understand you a lot.😅
No, i lie i don't understand (not so much)
Activa los subtitulos?? 😐
@@Max-er2by bro, solo tiene subtitulos en ingles ._.
Thanks for the video, is the case with the pocket grippy on the outside, it looks like it's cloth.
Yes the outside is made of cloth. I personally really like the material though. I find that the texture of the cloth is grippier than most cases, a lot of cases are extremely smooth on the outside but I think the fabric actually gives it a little bit of grip.
What is "Best Buy"?
It's a store in the US and Canada. A big popular electronics store
@@AndroidDigest Oh... I guess I didn't know him then. I'm German. Here MediaMark is the big technology dealer.
It does now have Samsung Dex
Yes! Updated to have dex which is great
Hei! This tablet does support samsung dex
Yes, it came with an update that came out after this video launched.
Update, it has DEX now
YES
Yep. It just got it with an update. This deserves some upvotes
@@AndroidDigest Now monitor support?
@@danielaxwing4090 sorry but no. That is tied to the USB ports, Not the software
The infiland case is only $17 compared to $50 for the Samsung case
I agree with the micro usb thing it drives me nuts
I won't buy ANYTHING with micro-usb
The S6 Lite now has Samsung Dex and works with a monitor!
Two years on the s6lite tablet can use Samsung dex.
Yes, The 2022 model and the older model got a software update, now it can use Samsung DeX
The 2022 version now supports Dex
The older version does too, with a software update
I'm kinda lovin' the Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, the bad thing is that I need mine in Spanish, otherwise I'm never going to find these 👉🏼Ñ Á Ü (I hate typos!)
Lol. Subscribing because of the pun🤣
Haha thank you. Appreciate the support
With the last update i have Samsung Dex
Yes it was a big surprise and they added it in the last update. It still doesn't have support to connect to a monitor with HDMI, but it's still cool that you have Samsung dex now
I'm raging because I bought the 64GB S6 Lite for 350 usd, but it went on sale for 280 a month or two later.
Does the keyboard really work on a tablet?
Yes. Bluetooth keyboards work great
Bro I bought this tablet by seeing this video, but my tab cont able to connect with OTG , whether its OTG mistake or tab mistake, But the OTG is supporting for my phone
I specifically said in this video that this cannot connect to a monitor. It doesn't have the proper usb port. Also mentioned in the time stamps (look for the specific time). Pretty sure you have to have a usb 3.1 port (thinking off memory here). And this has usb 3.0? It's been a while since I researched, sorry man! It's a bummer!
Sucks that it has no hdmi out
Yep, that's for sure!
what about spen nib? If it breaks then?
I'm sure there are replacements Samsung could send
Ya can actually replace them with the replacement tips for the S-Pen from the Tab S6
There's a YT video on that too iirc
How to connect OTG with samsung galaxy Tab S 6 Lite ?
You can't unfortunately, sorry! It won't connect to otg or to monitors, it's only usb 2.0 so it doesn't work with monitors, sorry!
i have a usb -c keyborad
Got mine from Walmart for 279 nice sale
Great sale for sure!
@@AndroidDigest absolutely
That is stupid, I went and bought a type-c to HDMI ,because I Googleed whether I can hook the s6 lite and Google said yes 😂
It's a sad day
@@AndroidDigest i payed 459 euros for a. Scam,,set by galaxy it's self 😂
So annoyed I just ordered a HDMI/USB-c cable to connect my tablet to the tv and doesn’t work!! Fuming

My youtube videos don't fill the screen
It normally depends on what phone you have. Some videos don't fill the whole screen on every phone. It varies by phone
@@AndroidDigest i mean on my tablet s6 lite. i have narrow black bars on top and bottom. Pinch to zoom does not work. Everythings fully updated.
@@gamerdaddy2570 Ahh I know what you mean now! It's pretty normal! On my Lenovo P11 Pro (I'll be reviewing in the next couple of weeks) it has the same exact thing. Aspect ratios are different on every screen, so depending on the device there may be slight bars on the tops of videos or on the sides. It's pretty normal! Nothing wrong with your device! I just watched a big youtuber on my Lenovo Tab and had the same thing, and I have the same thing on every video, even with an updated app! It's perfectly normal, and it's not just a flaw with your tab, it's pretty common on many tablets
@@AndroidDigest thanks a lot for the detailed reply. Subbed.
@@gamerdaddy2570 thanks for the support! I review any device I would like, Android tablets (bigtime) Chromebooks, and a lot of phones between $300 to $800. Ask any questions as you have them!
Is it just me or does he look like drake?
