San Diego Rock n' Roll Marathon 2024

Ran with my sister, Sam. Biggest accomplishment: we didn't stop on the dreaded 163 freeway uphill!
Met a new friend, Dale from Phoenix, who was running his first marathon and killed it! (4:29:20... a couple minutes faster than Sam and me)
My buddy and coworker Aldrin ran along with me and cheered me on near the end.
Filmed with GoPro Hero 11 and edited with OpenShot. I’m not sure how accurate the GoPro GPS is for these short clips… I’m pretty sure Sam and I weren’t running a 5-minute mile at the end.

Congratulations. I ran the San Diego half marathon (my first HM) and my finish time was 1:53:31. Really it was a great event; I expect to run a Marathon one day (maybe) the next year.

Come to Denver next May 2025 and do the Colfax Marathon.

That portion on the highway seemed never ending and the downhill was just as hard as the climb lol
