20240714 - Camden, Ben Franklin Bridge, and Philly Run
Started in Camden, NJ, near the RCA/Victor building, then ran to the waterfront by the ferry/aquarium/outdoor concert area/Battleship New Jersey, then ran across the Ben Franklin Bridge to Philadelphia and past the Liberty Bell/Independence Hall, then to the waterfront, then back over the bridge to Camden.

Ti Top Island Hike, Halong Bay - June 21, 2024

Part of the Halong Bay tour was to visit this island, named after a Russian friend of Uncle Ho Chi Minh. Hiked up and down (in flip flops) twice since it was short and there was nothing else to do. Spoiler Alert: at the top of the island there's a store selling young coconuts and soda.

Ran three laps around the lake around 7am. Saw lots of folks exercising, which was fun. Sorry for the shakiness of the video... I had to have the selfie stick compacted most of the time.

Ran four laps around the Vinpearl Resort with the Insta360 X3 camera. Very beautiful place, and we were fortunate that the weather was decent (still super hot and humid, but not raining).

One of the activities from Hermes Cruise. Took a small boat to the island then took kayak through the caves to the center of the island. They also had bamboo boats to bring folks into the center of the island if they didn't want to get wet kayaking.

Tokyo Imperial Palace Run - June 26, 2024

About 3.15 miles around the Imperial Palace. Took subway to Takebashi Station and started run from there. Left my water bottle and camera cap right outside the station and sure enough it was untouched when I returned (gotta love how safe Japan is!). First time doing this event and it was a blast! Highly recommended. They have them in multiple cities across the US, too. Only downside for this particular one was that it coincided with the "spring forward" daylight savings time change... so we all had to get up super early.

Thanks for the shout-out. The marathon was tough but i finished.
Congratulations. I ran the San Diego half marathon (my first HM) and my finish time was 1:53:31. Really it was a great event; I expect to run a Marathon one day (maybe) the next year.
Come to Denver next May 2025 and do the Colfax Marathon.
That portion on the highway seemed never ending and the downhill was just as hard as the climb lol

It's a no-name brand one I got on Temu for $12 to hold my phone and keys while running. It has a non-zippered pouch in back that could hold the selfie stick just fine but I wouldn't do that with the camera attached because it would stick out and possibly fall out or continually bounce against my back
