I finally listened to this album in it's entirety on August 7th 2017 and wanted to show this album to my dad. He usually liked the music I liked and I wanted to know what he thought. He was in the hospital that day so I sent him a link to the album and waited for his response. I never got one, he passed away that night. I wish I could have heard his thoughts on it. I was listening to blindsided when I realized he died. I like to think the line "you're love will be safe with me" was the last thing my dad heard from me.
Finally someone who points out how amazing creature fear is. Usually when people talk about this album, all they know is skinny love, and while it’s a beautiful song, creature fear is just truely beautiful
I'm Brazilian, and I fell special for to meet bon iver. My favorite song is "for Emma", when I heart it I remember an important person, thanks bon iver ❤️
I think that goes for the rest of music and the rest of art, the artist sort of means something he can´t quite put his finger on and then we sort of understand a meaning that we can´t quite put our finger on either, but there is a conection so mysterious yet so overwhelming that unite us at a place where we all know we are lost, but we all know we´re lost together.
Pov: you got a girlfriend breakup, no one band wants to play music with you, then you decide to stay for a while in a cabin. All these leads you to make one of the greatest undeground indie folk albums for the last decade.
Hi I've watched this video so many times now and I love your production/video style and I was wondering, would it be possible to make a video like this about Ben Howard? TIA :)
It’s a real shame that the mastering and pressing quality of the vinyl releases of this album are terrible! If anyone knows of a decent pressing, let me know!
One of the greatest albums ever
You know it!
The greatest album

I'm sure he would have loved this! So sorry for your loss.

i think Flume is perhaps the best on the record. It's just got such a great message and feeling.
