Just came here to say that I love you guys, Mark, Brian. I will not be following the Mavs anymore and don’t care if they have success. I’ve unsubscribed from this channel, unfollowed Mavs on sports news apps, deleted Twitter because I only kept it to be up to date with the fandom. It’s been really fun but no longer.
A shit thing was done that only the smallest handful of people knew about. Don't punish all the good people working there. The organization is bigger than the shitheads that made this decision.

I know you all can't say your disappointment on air because y'all are not allowed to but I'm sure we all feel your pain too. But right now I can't stand the Mavericks org. It makes me sick just thinking what Nico did to the franchise specially to their fan bases.
Whenever I watch a Dallas game on League pass, I always choose the Mavs broadcast because of the play-by-play of Mark Followill. I can relate to his enthusiasm for having an exciting player (Luka) on my favorite NBA team. Luka Magic is unique and he was taken away from us #MFFL. O-M-G! This is really harsh for us die-hard Mavs fans and for Dallas Texas. Nico underestimated Luka's value to the Mavs fan base and Dallas community.

This is the worst trade in the NBA history. This is betrayal to one of the greatest player. We picked him from the draft, he took over the torch from Dirk. We all expect Luka stay until he retire. This decision is a complete disaster. It hurts the feeling of Luka and others play around him, ruin the culture and lose the entire fanbase. No one who has a positive IQ will make this decision. Nico has a fking problem. Mavs is now a totally disgusting team, no one would want to stay with you. You should feel shame to all of us who open our heart to the team. This is a bizarre situation for a lot of fans. I didn’t know until Luka got traded that I wasn’t a Mavs fan. I started watching basketball when people started talking about this kid named Dirk who was fun to watch. That lasted a decade or two until Luka came along. Now, Luka is gone and I have zero interest in watching the Mavericks anymore. I don’t care if they win a championship with AD. I’ll be watching Luka play with LA. I thought I hated LA. Turns out I only hated LA because they made life difficult for Dirk for so long. Same with San Antonio. So long, fellas. Love y’all.

It will be hard to comoprehend this...imo...awful sucker punch. It doesnt make sense for almost any reason to just ship off a generational talent that loved his team, loved his fans, loved his city. it hurts. and in return we got a great player but i dont think that really helps the future of the franchise. beyond the next 2 years, im scared of receding back into mediocrity. He like us the fans was blindsided. I hope one day we can reunite with that joy of Luka Magic. Until then, hes going to kill us on the court everytime he sees white and blue.
