I think you mean Following orders vs. Giving Orders. And in addition to giving orders, Prophet was of course following orders himself. I don't remember Prophet questioning orders in Crysis. I remember him perhaps disobeying an order on one occasion at the very end. At that point, it's not clear that he heard the order, though.
I agree about the cliffhanger, though. Yerli already screwed fans of Crysis over with "Crysis" 2 and "Crysis" 3, so the _real_ sequel to Crysis would have to be titled 'Crysis Continued'. As you indicated, it would pick up where it was obviously intended to before Yerli got butthurt about all of the hypothetical millions of dollars he _should_ have made, and decided to take it out on all of the PC players who made Crysis a critical _and_ financial success, and delivered him tens of millions of dollars in pure profit.

This is just empty levels with no gameplay scripting and physics. Add that and you would have to lower graphics dramatically. UE4 have lots of demos like this, but when iot comes to games, it's nowhere close.
Then look at Kingdom Come, which is made on CryEngine. It was beautiful in beta, but they had to severely downgrade it to release.

the best new features are: Fully Dynamic Lighting, Ragdolls.. i never seen this before in game graphics
This is the engine that I'll stick on forever, if these features of CryEngine stays! I was a Unity guy (In case of 3D), but Unity can't give me all the features that CryEngine gives me. I don't mean Unity is bad, but in case of 3D CryEngine gives me huge amounts of features that Unity can't give. So now I'm now a CryEngine user! I'm agree with the pricing for all the features. And thanks Crytek, for making this amazing technology! I wish more people to try CryEngine!
Very honest engine trailer, no-over smooth geometry or unpratically expensive use of effects, just what you would get from a next gen commercial game however,
i am disappointed with the rag-doll system; almost jell-like muscle behaviour, bending limbs just with the weight of the body mass alone.
GTA IV had the best ragdoll physics I've ever seen in a game. Rockstar should've taken "If it's not broken, don't fix it." to heart with GTA V lmao, other Developers should've learned from IV's ragdoll system.

GTA IV didnt had basic rag-doll from just the engine itself like many of these engines have tho, Rockstar uses their RAGE engine but it had additional Euphoria engine (google it) combined with the RAGE specifically for the physics in the game. Every object,car etc. Thats why it look so realistic in many ways not just the ragdoll. They dumbed it down fro GTAV because how CPu intensive it was. They wouldnt be able to expand GTAV graphically and scale as they did if they would kept it like it was in GTAIV, especially not with the potato CPUs in consoles. Its similar as how some of the game engines implement Nvidia PhysX tech for fluids -> Borderlands for instance.

It's amazing that with each cryengine demo there is less of a distance to other developers. I could hardly find anything I haven't seen in other engines. Of course if you work with cryengine these new features are really good news.

so that only 10 people play It? If they made a game that consoles like PS5 and Xbox scarlet could not run, then only a fragment of the pc gamers would be able to play It. That is not viable in the economics perspective, you cannot make a costly game that only a bunch of nerds would be able to play It, the return of the game would be very low. That's why games like the witcher 3 turned to consoles, to make such expensive game, the pc market alone was not enough, they need console gamers.
