@@luxusAIyes do it, use it that you are in Korea ❤ my moms Friends Family are local doctors and they are from Seoul. So i also want to go. But it be nice to pick up more than just one City to see Local differences
Currently waiting for when i have to leave home in a few hours for my plane to Seoul and i saw this! Now i'm even more excited for all the food I get to eat over there! Great video as usual, Uncle Jimmy! I rewatched all your videos in Seoul today and took down notes lol!
"Wow, Jimmy, this Night Market adventure in Busan, Korea was a foodie's dream come true! The amazing dishes and vibrant atmosphere had me craving a trip to Korea ASAP. Thanks for taking us along on this delicious journey! Can't wait for the next mouthwatering video.
A version of Yukjeon is pretty popular in Hawaii. All local Korean plate lunch restaurants have it in their menu as “Meat Jun”. It’s one of my favorite dishes.
One of the best street foods I've had while studying in China was grilled cold noodles (烤冷面)! Yes, it's a legit dish, and they seem to make it perfectly. The sauce is slightly spicy, tangy and the cumin powder makes it super flavorful! :9
How It Started: 8:28 (The) being super depressed part was true though. How It's Going: 2:18 I love how those young ladies are working extremely hard. 3:27 These ladies should be proud. They're making some really special things here. "No one will know the violence it took to become this gentle." 🕊
I travelled Busan before but I’ve never been to this night market. I’ll defiantly have to put this market on my travel list next time go there! I freakin’ love Hottoek, it’s my favourite Korean Street food as well!!! I also love Odeng!! Love your videos Jimmy, you’re effortlessly funny haha
Hodduk looks really good. That with some Almond Milk would've been the perfect match! I will add nuts on mine when I make them next time, ty for the genius idea.
Jimmy you mention in this video specifically the Korean obsessed with adding cheese to everything lately. I remember about 15 years ago, all of a sudden a couple of friends of mine who lived in Korea (Busan at the time) telling me exactly that - all of a sudden street foods were getting added cheese out of nowhere and then restaurants just adding cheese to everything. Now, I love cheese like you said - but some things are just better without cheese. Pork belly, can be good with cheese (see a grilled cheese with bacon here in the US for example, basically the same thing lol) but just not on everything under the sun! And over the last decade cheese is on even more things! Cheese on cheese on cheese it seems. The cheese on corn dogs, I get that one (mostly). Cheese on that corn dish I won't even try to pronounce or type out, I get that one. But melting cheese into ramen, why?!?
4:51 gummy rice is actually from tnhe starches in the rice, if it doesnt taste gummy itll mean that they washed the rice thoroughly to get as much starch out as possible
I like his recommendations and help people to zero down to locations when they travel to Seoul..so is better to say the area. Which has better street food namdamun or myeongdong??
As someone from busan, i approve the choice of market. That place has some seriously good munchies but he missed some of the better ones. Still an awesome video!!
hi jimmy! was wondering will you be able to do a "halal" option video for food in korea and explore the halal and SEA food in kr? (if im not wrong most are in itaewon). thank you so much if you do a video on this !!
love the vids, food and especially the humor.....would you go to the most expensive Buffet in South Korea...to see if its good, eatable as they claim....3 hours, 200 usd a person......keep on going with these vids.....
😁 The city looks beautiful but not as exciting without the 🧟♂️Zombies 🧟♀️ The Yubu Udon, Shiat Hotteok and Tteokbokki look the most appetizing but if they give you something that thick they shouldn't skimp on the spice 🌶😉. I don't share your taste for the artificial so those slurpies are a thing of the past for me but I'm grateful that you're a real one Jimmy 🥰💯💝Food must be fresh and exciting 🤌
Ooooh, I have to make my own version of the yukjeon lighter on the oil! And I have been dying to try makgeolli for months now... can not find it and I work in a liquor store =_=
Makgeolli expires fast so your local liquor store most likely won’t have it… go to a Korean supermarket or make it at home? I have a video on how to make it
I am from india and i really love youu videosss itss a reall inspiration I keep travelling throughout the world i really wanna visit korea and these videos really help me get a good idea but the worst part is i am vegetarian and the food choices are limited can you make a video in it
I went to the same night market a few months ago and i was not impressed. The food was pretty average and there wasn't too much to choose from and shops closed pretty early from memory.
Hello from the US! I really enjoy your videos. I agree about the trend with cheese on Korean food, not a fan. I grew up with very little dairy and seeing Korean food bastardized like that is no good.
I know exacly what you mean by not trusting hyped food...especially nowadays.but i would trust you because unlike most Foodbloggers you are blunt and tell us if something is just ok 😂 like CupofTJ you two are my absolute Favorites! I wish you would collaborate, she makes innapropriate Jokes too ❤😊
Ur lo-fi album "new girl in town" had some of my favourite songs on it but it has been removed from every streaming platform and so I cannot listen to it 😭 Any info about this? Thank u, love u uncle Jimmy!
One of the songs in the album had a sample that someone (illegally) claimed the copyright for T.T I had no choice but to take it down to keep the playlist royalty free
@@jimmykimtvThat's crazy. I didn't see anyone taller than you there. You're slightly shorter than me. I'm 100% Filipino and Koreans call Filipinos short.
Can you really eat all that food in one day 😳??? You might have been an obese underconfident child but look at you now 🥰!!! Can you introduce us to seasonal food in Korea? For example, what do you eat when the weather is hot, cold, and so on. Can you also show us seasonal fruit and vegetables grown in Korea? In Italy we have places called agriturismo where you can eat fresh local produce cooked in a traditional way, they specialize in meat, fish, dairy and vegetables according to their location and produce. They are normally located in the country, hills or mountains so people can enjoy themselves after the meal, especially children. Do you have something similar in Korea? 🤗😁😘
🤔 Well Jimmy if your love 💘 life really bothers you we can pull cards for you 🥰 I don't want one relationship to ruin all the beautiful things that China has to offer the world 💖 It would be my thank you for all the smiles and beautiful music 🎶 you put out into the Universe 💝
I thoroughly enjoyed your presentations and more in-depth information with your food reviews. Engaging with style and substance.
Good lord, that seeded hotteok with cheese would be the end of me. Might have to order 10. It looks that good!
