- Screen can exclusively reveal the first trailer for 'Enfant Terrible', Oskar Roehler’s biopic of late iconic German director Rainer Werner Fassbinder.
Shot in Cologne and Munich over the summer of 2019, the feature had been primed to launch at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, followed by a May theatrical release in Germany until the Covid-19 pandemic stopped festivals and cinemas in their tracks.
The film is lead-produced by Markus Zimmer at Bavaria Filmproduktion in co-production with Stefan Arndt and Uwe Schott at X Filme Creative Pool.
Oliver Masucci stars as Fassbinder, leading an ensemble cast featuring Katja Riemann, Erdal Yildiz as the director’s violent actor lover El Hedi ben Salem, Eva Mattes as actress Brigitte Mira, Antoine Monot jr. as producer and actor Peter Berling, Götz Otto as Oscar-winning US actor Jack Palance and Alexander Scheer as Andy Warhol. - Кино
Holy Lord. Please ... just don’t.
Just watch his films. Then watch them again-that’s all the biopic you’ll ever need.
Yes it's straights trying to recreate RWF from afar, but amusing enough for completists. Like the playing house with his lover's sons "abducted" from Morocco, or just to see Kurt Raab recreated cos WE MISS THAT GUY
I noticed in the comment section you get already attacked, just like Fassbinder was. Sounds promising!
My only aim is to make more movies the more the better I feel
🤣😂Ulrich
snap out of it! lol
The actor they got to play Kurt Raab looks exactly like him.
Interesting, can't wait.
Live fast, die Fassbinder.
I worship Fassbinder, so I'll watch anything on him, guaranteed.
Wow - scary!
What mucis 0:38?
Yah, knows somebody the song?
who is the author of the piano piece from the trailer?!
Peer Raben - "Tears of a Lady." Originally featured in 'Querelle,' I think Wong Kar Wai used it in a film too before... '2046' I believe, except in that movie the piece was renamed "Dark Chariot"
There was a man on the dinner table on the ship who looked - in retrospect, I don't tend to think such things at the time - like a cross between Rainer Werner Fassbinder and my MP Barry Gardiner but said he was a primary school head and inspector. I thought it funny that Fassbinder might have been posing as a primary headmaster decades after he'd died. He turned out to be less entertainingg than someone else at the table although I can't remember what the other man did.
I think this movie could rock...
Zu diesem Film fällt mir nur das Wort SCHEISSE ein.
Von einem solchen reaktionären Idioten schon wieder ein Kompliment!
Ok
