As a cast member I recommend coming to Disney springs. We have so many good food places there. From up scale steak restaurant to chicken tenders that will blow you away. Even have a few food trucks too.

tbh Yak & Yeti used to be my favorite restaurant but it's been bought out and has since gone downhill. I was disappointed on my last trip. The mango pie is good though!

Just seeing you walk through the park and seeing all the decor and sights really made me happy, I haven’t been to the animal kingdom in about 8 years it was the last big trip I took with my mother before she passed away. I don’t know but just seeing it all again flooded me with memories in association to said places.
I am so glad you ate at Sana! We were lucky enough to eat there when we went in 2019 and the bread appetizer was SO GOOD! One of our favorite places to eat in Disney.

One of the best times to visit Disney/Epcot (when you can in Florida) is when Epcot is having the International Food Market. So many great stalls with amazing food.

We love Tusker House and Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I tried Oxtail soup for the first time there and it was amazing! We were pretty happy with the Yak & Yeti as well!
I’m pretty sure those orange balls thing are ikura (salmon eggs) and not boba balls. Salmon eggs are used to top dishes to make them look fancier/ more expensive but they’re not expensive and can be bought in some Asian supermarkets.
My favorite Disney buffet is Boma, in the Animal Kingdom Lodge hotel. If you like Tucker House, Boma has amazing African-inspired cuisine that’s very much along those lines. Everything there is amazing, from uncommon soups to roasted meats. Also, I’m a fan of the ribs at Flame Tree Barbecue. Fall off the bone delicious. Yak and Yeti is not bad, but I think it’s popular in the same way that Panda Inn or PF Changs is popular… good American style Asian fusion served by a third party lessee. I think you made the right choices… with the only thing I question filling up on a chili dog? So much good food at Animal Kingdom, that I might have to break down and try that.

Diabetes isn't caused just by sugar. There's multiple reasons why a person gets diabetes, predominantly family history and being either overweight or underweight. I know someone whose a diabetic after having an eating disorder! Mike uses the gym twice a day most days so he's pretty fit and because of his workouts he always had a big appetite.
I think he's taken some advice from his last visit, honestly, as a lot of people in comments gave. Just going to Disney with no plan and getting quick service food like he did, its a bad idea. The places he went to are not great bc they're intended for families with children. You have to do a bit of research and plan on what to get (DFB and AllEars can help with this). It definitely seems like he took the advice given last time. Disney has INCREDIBLE food, but it's not going to be at every spot.
We love the Tusker House buffet! Awesome and diverse food options. Really fun character experience as well, you know, for the kids :) AK and Star Wars area has the best food
What's terrible is you could fly to the other side of the world and get a decent hotel for a week for what it costs to do just one day at any Disney park. I live just miles away from DW and my family doesn't go there. We can't afford it.
Trick to Yak and Yeti is to get the Landry’s membership which is $25, but then you get a $25 gift card online you can use right away. Then go in and let them see you’re a Landry’s member (Yak and Yeti is a Landry’s restaurant) and they will seat you within 30 minutes even without a reservation. Get the ahi tuna nachos and the Korean spicy fried chicken appetizers
Mikey has been online for nearly a decade. Multiple websites, multiple RUclips channels (he's also a human history and paranormal history buff too, he's not just a foodie). He's made a legitimate business out of travelling and eating.

Satu’li canteen is by far our favourite place to eat in Animal kingdom, maybe even all of Disney World!!
What's terrible is you could fly to the other side of the world and get a decent hotel for a week for what it costs to do just one day at any Disney park. I live just miles away from DW and my family doesn't go there. We can't afford it.
Trick to Yak and Yeti is to get the Landry’s membership which is $25, but then you get a $25 gift card online you can use right away. Then go in and let them see you’re a Landry’s member (Yak and Yeti is a Landry’s restaurant) and they will seat you within 30 minutes even without a reservation. Get the ahi tuna nachos and the Korean spicy fried chicken appetizers
