Props to Cena for making the clarification that he was homeless by choice & making sure the parents were not blamed for not being good parents.
John Cena always sits up straight. Guy never leans back
Great posture
All men supposed to have that posture
@@ashleybanks-wm4cgno, that’s the idea society sets 😂. You sit how you sit. There are times to sit straight and not to.
he is so ready for life and explore it , men he grew on me on this podcast , specialy some like us also struggled to even have internet and your own room and house!
It’s cuz that suit lmfao they don’t feel good to slouch in cuz they pull in certain areas and get very uncomfortable. The suits are tailored to your body actually so good because your posture is supposed to be good, it fixes it when you sit
People think this is crazy…but people do this every day in California. I’ve slept outta my car and used the gym for a couple weeks before to save money. Lol so Cena is a real 1 for that! He can relate to the struggle. 💯
you can’t relate to the struggle if you had a choice
@@hunch0hussein792exactly 💯 dude just wants to resonate with the regular people.
Same all over the country
You chose to do that - you didn’t struggle
Nah you’re just cheap
Wow John Cena is way more humble and down to earth then I would have thought!
Shannon such a good dude and people can’t help but recognize that and open up to him because he really does care. Keep going Unk
It’s been this simple the whole time , 💯💯 people acting like they didn’t get it. All you gotta do is be authentic and judgement free…no reason for anyone to hate Unc
I appreciate how John Cena is humble. I watched him over the years. It’s great to see the growth. I never knew the backstory but now that I’m learning, it’s great to hear.
Cena oozes professionalism
I think it's his posture when he sits i don't think he even leaned back once just sat straight for almost 2 hours
Cena definitely betted on himself and won 🥇
I see this all the time, homeless people sleep in their car at the gym and use it to shower and charge their phones, then they just chill in their car and they use the gyms wifi.
@@FateOfAllFoolslol sounds like a great life
@NicotineRosberg it is a great life. I've been in my car for a long time. I travel all over the country hiking, exploring, meeting new people and trying new things. Sure I don't have a house but the pros far out weight the cons
I got a California state park pass and hang out at the beach all day in my camper
@@NicotineRosberg I mean its really smart and you save money and get to shower lol. I noticed they never work out though lol.
@@nomaderic it might be a great life to you…but that’s not the way to live life. IMO. And I’ve lived outta my car before. No matter how less of responsibilities you have doing that, it’s not what you want long term. Short term to get your life together and save up…yes. But for years, is not good. Stay strong! 💪🏽
Going through something similar, this is real inspirational..
John lookin like a buff ahh Jim Carey 😂😂😂
😂😂😂 Exactly
Lol did you see Sting when he was young? Dude is also a Jim Carey 😂
Looka nothing alike
Not even close like what brought you to that conclusion?
Even the voices are the same.
As one of many others in tough times hearing Johns struggles def makes me feel like no matter how hard it gets Ill b good
Yes. When someone (parents)says you will be back you fight hard not to go back. Even when you are having the hardest time. It will get better, and will make it.
I wonder if the relationship with his DAD has given him the fear of having children
I think so
Maybe but tbh the way this world is going he's making a smart decision
Who is he interviewing looks like Shannon talking to himself
I don’t get it
@@natethegreat559 bruv we can’t see anything but Shannon on the left. What do you see?
@@natethegreat559john Cena reference “you can’t see me”
Haha...good one😂
This just made what I needed today!
Same!
I never really watched John Cena in his wrestling days but, i am enjoying his movie roles and even more so his podcast interviews. He seems like a very solid guy
He has great perspective, which is unusual for people with his amount of money
You are so talented, keep making videos!
I wouldn't have ever thought WWE would start a person off at a $12,000 a year contract.
Study Vince McMahon. That’s his style.
Not only that but they have to find a way to each show. Listen to upper management on what to do but can't promote themselves. Can't just run off and do movies and make a name for yourself that way either. Book your own hotels and pay for that too. Oh yeah and keep up the physique however possible with whatever food is possible to get late at night traveling across states to go to the next gig. Circus performer life with none of the upsides.
@@madbart214yomother7 That is most definitely a small Circus Performer's life. Wow
This was when he was still training and on a development contract
@@jayvonrichards1169 well that makes sense
Shannon keep up the great work, love watching u on First Take & your Podcast with Chad
You know what it is. Everything is for the fans.
Like and subscribe.
Thank you, John Cena for clearing that up at the very beginning being homeless while chasing your dream is sometimes what needs to be done
Hardship teaches you the value of things in your life. Unfortunately, most kids today couldn't do that. They're too entitled. During adulthood, it teaches you, no one will help you. You have to do it on your own.
My boy John Cena !! Word life this or basic thugenamicss lols😂 childhood memories
U can't c me my time is now.
This conversation was amazing! I am really glad i watched this
“Forgiveness is not for the person that you feel that have wronged you. Forgiveness is For You” Unc -2024
12.5k/yr is insane
It’s a bit misleading though. He was under that contract for a VERY short time. He quickly moved up the ranks in OVW and debuted on smackdown after less than a year.
@@joshdelagarza231he said 9 months. And then a year in ovw.
John, a smart boy he never touched those Shayshay drinks
He did 3:29
He did buddy..
To me homeless by choice just means you're camping out.
You gotta do what you gotta do..
Father son relationships are hard but very very rewarding to both when done correctly. Nobody is perfect and father and son both should understand that fact.
This was a good listen 🔥
Peace Maker was a good show i actually watched every episode
Is it still on ???
@@user-be7tc2bd6e yes
Great conversation between two intellectuals. Always had my doubts with Cena but he seems to be a really good bloke.
@JOHN is a Real One...Love His Story ❤️👊🏾💯 He Bet On Himself
I miss the Thugganomics Cena
It’s a character man..
I have always loved him. But he's so smart and open to earth.❤
"forgiveness is for you" 💯
As a therapist I can tell he has done work on himself. Therapy 😊
I liked that he clarified it was by choice.
This was a real conversation
What a wild interview
Forgiveness is understanding💎 this is a great clip👍
Great interview!
Basically $1,000 a month
That's enuf during 90s
@@sampahtetapsam21 not when your rent is $1200 😭
Great interview ❤👊🏼💪🏼👍🏼☮️☘️
This was the most Man to Man interview I’ve seen The interview was very very good
What a Great Interview.
Cena is very articulate and well spoken.
Sad… Shannon sitting here talking to himself
I was actually searching for this comment 🤣
Please do Undertaker, an Deion😮
Unc is on some serious juice!
I did the same while going to college. Slept in my car, work out and shower at the gym and ate once a day.
The Company was operating at a loss.
😂👏👏
As someone who lived through this struggle by choice and refused to take the easy way out going back to my parents, hearing him talk about this brought a tear to my eye.
The more stories John Cena tells, the more I have to remind myself how much exaggerating wrestlers do. "He drove 18 hours with no radio on a whim, he was homeless by choice, he walked up hill both ways with no shoes, hustle loyalty respect"
Imagine John jumping across that table and putting hands on Unk
He better think twice
@@SWOTHDRA😂😂😂😂💯hood
I can listen to these two talk for hours! Honest interlocutors
5:26 so wholesome 😭😭😭
Love this guy now!
Peace be unto you Mr.John Cena.
Forgiveness is for the forgiving, not for the forgiven. They have their own demons to battle. You have yours to slay.
I really love John Cena! Of course I knew who he was because my dad watched a lot of wrestling, but man, I could listen to him talk all day.
Sharpe is on another level when it comes to this space!!!
🔥🙏🏾⚔️🙌🏾🔥
I struggle with not knowing how to forgive but not forgetting. How do you forgive and still remember?
What do I need to do to forgive and still remember without getting upset? that is what I struggle with the most. Especially being alone. I thought I’d find peace in the middle of nowhere by myself but I don’t. That’s where all my inner thoughts and problems come crashing down and I don’t know what to do expect go back home and ignore the problems even more….
John Cena has me really thinking about life and questioning myself.
I’m so happy he’s where he is today and in his career. Amazing actor. But more so an amazing person. I would love to talk to him.
Idk what I’d say but I’d figure it out. I like how he’s excited and curious about everything. Not afraid to be himself.
John Cena is my spirit animal!
Love John.. so humble
Why is Shannon? Talking to nothing but floating clothes ? 🤨
I miss you Mr.John Cena.
It's either feast or famine
That’s why I was always so thankful to have a vehicle, had to do this a couple times.
These cena interviews are 💎
Thanks For Shinning ☀️ Your Light 🕯️ As It Allows Others To Do The Same 💜🫂🫂💜.... Blessings 🙏🏻
John’s a bad bad man
Why is Shannon talking to himself?
Hurricane worth more than 12k per year
I love how he couldve used that for clout but didn't... Homeless by choice.
Shannon sharpe has become an icon
🫡I KNEW YOU WHERE AWESOME JOHN CENA🧡💐🎉
You can tell John never had this good of an interview before, prob got tired of all the same questions
This interview was awesome! S. Sharpe has gotten really good with his approach, and his selection of people he interviews about real life! 🙌
some guys were just built for the top, Cena is that guy
Lol, I thought that was Booked T this whole time…I was wondering why his laugh sounded so different
Nah, Booker has had dreads for quite a long time now. About 20 years now
I lived on the streets by choice and even tho it was hard sometimes i was happier then now
Lol it wasn't an accident u made it to TV let's just say I went to an ovw show once watched a couple of your matches & promos on TV and told Jr wwe needs this guy (you), batista, & Orton. Glad they listened and agreed. Your welcome. Thanks for all the great amazing entertainment. I still remember the first time I saw that spinning world championship 👍
That’s a pro soccer contract in the U.S. $12000 for a whole year. Play on tv and fight homelessness 😅
I would totally live in my car for a year but I can’t cuz I have to take care of my mother. The amount of money I would save would be ridiculous.
Clicked to make an invisibility joke, ended up spiritually uplifted instead.
Classy guy 💪🏿
Good no likings have to make it to the super bowl
Cena is a rags to riches story
Who is shannon interviewing? I cant see them
Your channel is not just a source of information, it is a source of inspiration and motivation. Thank you for your creativity and effort!🫶
I feel like theres something personal he wont share that is the real reason he has a difficult relationship with his dad theres no way that he basically cut off communication with him because his dad said hed be back in two weeks and because he never called to congratulate him.
John Cena made it look easy but the hurdles he's been most talking could never do.
This seems like a feasible idea these days to literally sleep in your car to have more money 😮 , always good to find positives in a negative situation.
Is John saying he hasn't talked to his dad in a long time?

When i think about winning the lottery i think why me ? There's a billion or more people who deserve it more ... and anything really so i get his comments. I pray for giving me and my family what I need to survive because that's all i can really ask for.
It went from inspiring to tacky and insulting lol
