There's a lot of improvements to the classic boomerang design on display here: - different style of track for outward-facing wheels instead of inward-facing- which might lead to less stress on the track - shorter trains means a shorter station- less momentum lost after the initial launch- and less energy needed to get through the course - shape of the cars is akin to newer vehicles from Mack rides, far more open than the classic Arrow train design - "dip" in the cobra roll is less pronounced, smaller risk of valleying - brake run between the loop and the 2nd lift means trains can be slowed down to more reliably hit the catchcar- similar to what happens on a Maurer skyloop And that's just what I got from the video. Yeah nah these guys did their homework when they made this.
@@bigsmallrollercoasterworld They don´t really use their old track style anymore. They had to resort to a different factory for the retrack of Python at the Efteling in 2018. :)
@@LexcoasterNot completely true. They just opened a new Mine Train coaster with their old track style and they also retracked an SLC in the United States. Efteling used a different track manufacturer because of other reasons (that I don’t know)
This isn’t made by the manufacturer who actually built the ride model, but is made by jinma instead of vekoma, of course like so jinma has to copy everything including vekoma 💀💀
@@phoenix4465 the ride at La Ronde has the same layout but uses a different track system and it is built by Vekoma. It’s not even nearly as smooth as this one in the video.

@@vexfidel4127 absolutely. Well summarised! 👍
This looks like how a new generation Vekoma Boomerang would look like. 🤔😂
@@Lexcoaster yes. But unfortunately Vekoma still uses their old track style for even their newest boomerangs.

@@theSpectatorVideos Oh yeah that's true. But I bet if a park were to order a Boomerang now they would get one in the new track style.
@ their traditional boomerang would probably not be part of their portfolio anymore (but if customers pay anything is possible)

@@Thelightning1out Jinma Rides has copied the layout but they have improved the track and the train making it super smooth.
@@bigsmallrollercoasterworld Yes, but they're known for copying other manufacturers rides without permission, because they can get away with it.
Wahnsinn, das sieht echt Butterweich aus 😊❤ danke fürs mitnehmen
@@kevin-s-music ja, wir konnten es auch nicht fassen, wie sanft die Bahn fuhr. 🎢
Cobra Roll profiling is weird, but I’m not ashamed to say I’d rather ride this than a real Boomerang 😂
Only 20/train capacity? down from 28 on a Vekoma.
We have the exact same ride in Montreal, Canada 😊
