- Foxshooting is easy, roebucks are rutting, the fallow buck season is open, and the Scouts Jamboree has gone nuts for shooting (in a good way). There is grouse in the News Stump and Hunting RUclips even touches on wild boar and wildfowling. It's close to the whole quarry list on this week's Fieldsports Britain, as Roy Lupton calls in roebucks, and Andy Crow hosts Dom Holtam and Ulf Lindroth after foxes and fallow.

Really good to see the Scouts are moving with the times. 10K or more in Essex jamboree blows my mind. I was a cub, Scout and Adventure Scout whilst at boarding school and it was a great way to prep for the Military, was also the arena where i found my love and life passion for hunting for the table. Good content lads. ATB Moose Down Under.

just a word about shooting .. it brings in a lot of money in this country and produces a lot of work,
we as shooters don't just go around killing any thing that move the likes of grouse and other birds are bred for this and cost to rear and we manage the land to be enjoyed, so think hard those who dislike our sport because we put a lot into it from the start.

I'm right handed but left eyed and it makes shotgunning shooting near impossible.
If your not bothered about hunting and would just like to go shooting give pistols a go. A good start is air pistols and if you like it you can go on to Lang barreled pistols or muzzleloader.
You can change your dominate eye but you have to wears a patch over dominant for a good week or so
Come on Charlie where is the fishing. Its not even on the news bit even when the fly fishing youth teams had there matches. I think you will have to change the name to Shooting Britain as it goes against the trade descriptions act.

Whats the deal with the call Crow is using? I'm in the U.S. and have never seen any thing like that used for predator hunting.

Please don’t get too abusive towards Chris Packham. I know he is an arrogant prick, but he seems to have a genuine interest in wildlife and the environment. As we all have, or should have, in the shooting community. Unfortunately he and his ilk think that they and only they should be in charge and know best. So until they are, they will let birds of prey do the job for them "The enemy of my enemy is my friend?"
