I love that the bag is practical as well- the mini ones are cute but I just know I couldn’t bring what I needed in them! The fact you can use it for travel or for your laptop is the cherry on top!❤

I mean….Kate spade makes bags with the same satchel style and they’re much much cheaper. Unless there’s a significant difference in leather and construction quality, I don’t see the need for these bags besides the status-you’ve “made it” if you can afford a Birkin

I think it’s great if you want to reward yourself with a bougie accessory, but what’s sad to me is that we’ve become a society that base their wins on having an overly priced bag that an animal have to die for you to wear… just saying

Congratulations, Victoria! She's a beauty🥰. I've always gravitated towards the slouchier shape of Birkins, vs. the stiffer structure of Kelly's; esp. b/c I generally prefer large bags.
I just don't like the feeling of a large, stiffly-framed bag projecting out against the underside of my arm. However, I haven't yet taken a chance on a Birkin, b/c they don't come w/a removable strap. Hèrmes also doesn't really have a safe way to add a strap on (e.g. clipping onto metal-reinforced handle hardware, etc.), without chancing damage to the integrity of its support system & stitching...But a small/Mini-Kelly for formal events? Or a Clemence Jypsiere? Those are a bit of me😋.

That to me looks and sounded a bit cheap and definitely not luxury. I recently bought my girlfriend a proper handmade, genuine cow leather hand bag with customised features and it cost less than 150. The leather is lovely and thick, very sturdy feeling and nothing like anything from a retailer!
