oh my!! yes yes yes ...i experienced them alllllllllllllllll.. i once had a moment where i just started my semester 4 where i just got back from sabah then suddenly someone came up to me and asked " heyyy D, bila sampai malaysia ?" .. and i was like dude u knew me for 2 years now and still asking me a stupid question..trus naik darah .. LOL.. then the second one was theres a few sabahan in my study place that could speak in english with accent and this girl is literally know some of them (including me) asked me why the sabahan are so good in english .. like are we? really?

So my mum is Kadazan but I was born in Kansas in the US. Apparently Kansas is a lot like Sabah in the "shit people say" to us. Trying to get to know this side of my heritage and it's real cool to see that connection.

@@ohheymissking yeah so my mum is from Papar but ended up in the US. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about my Kadazan side and got recommended your channel. Anyway, where I'm from in the States is super similar to Sabah because of our agricultural. I'm always asked what's in Kansas? What do y'all even do for fun? Do you have anything besides corn? There's a lot of ignorance in the rest of the country about what goes on in Kansas, perhaps much like Sabah and the rest of Malaysia. I kinda enjoy it. Feels special.

Hahaha to all Sabahan or Sarawakian I hope you guys don't take it too seriously about the typical questions you've been asked. Most of the people were just joking when they said things that could make you feel agitated. That is not what they really mean. After all we are all human and we love each other no matter where do you from or which etchnic do you belong to.
