my question is, why is that for enterprise users only ? and not for general purpose ? not everyone wants to just download a repository, install vscode and open vscode & copilot chat to use basically this
Money. With the those capabilities, you need to train thousands even million lines of coding data. And the hardware to train those cost money, you need to play for electricity. Search for the price of a single nvidia H100 GPU. The current hardware used to train those data. And they don't use only 1 of those GPU to train. They need to make money.
@@lvutodeath thing is, those are already trained for vscode/intellij/vim copilot. So its effectively just a "skin" for github. I can understand for enterprise users, but i would also love this for individuals
Which version of gpt is it using? The fact that it's not mentioned anywhere makes me feel like it's the same gpt3.5, because otherwise the marketing team would definitely use it as a selling point...
The integration ideas are amazing. Kudos to the Github team, these will really enhance the productivity of developers
how cool it is! a question is the size of context, how large codebase can copilot chat use?

Is the enterprise version more accurate and better that default github copilot? Let say in terms of window context?
Does GitHub copilot button work in individual account?
Does GitHub copilot button only work in enterprise?
How exactly do you pay for GitHub Copilot Enterprise?
Is it 1 million token size? I mean you cant beat that when it comes to code.
Can I use copilot with an on-prem enterprise server?
At present the GitHub Copilot Enterprise features are cloud-only
token context window size > function availability
Rather say good bye for programmers.
trying to automate your own field is peak stupidity
bro makes six figures but cant get his teeth whitened wtf
lol so true
Far less about salary and far more about anxiety
