I'm with Jessica, I miss the old Food Network shows too.
Same. Too many competition shows now
Sandra Lee and Paula Deen was my absolute favorite!!! I miss the old school Food Network for sure 🥰
I loved Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals back in the day!
Loved Sandra Lee bc she had so many fun short cuts and always made everything so pretty especially her table scapes
I absolutely loved Sandra Lee's table displays, indoors and out. They always made the food look even more festive.
Um you didnt smash the garlic lol what?
I loved to watch Ina Garten. She made everything seem so easy. Maybe it was the editing lol
Yes! Sandra Lee. Semi-homemade. I loved that she did tablescapes and cocktails. ❤
Tyler Florence was my jam back in the day on Food Network.
I absolutely loved Sandra Lee and every episode her kitchen was decorated so pretty with a different theme.
I loved to watch Bobby Flay. I miss the old format- it was much better than now!
I think chicken chunks added to the thai pasta salad would be perfect!😋
Emeril with the live audience was my favorite!
I liked Down Home with the Neely's. I'm with you all. I was a Food Network freak when they actually did cook. Now I watch you all and some other's here on RUclips. Thank you guys.
The first pasta salad next time add ginger paste & top with sesame seeds.maybe add chicken or beef , some broccoli and shredded carrots .green onions on top
I was gonna say the same thing. Also you could 13:38 add shrimp and red pepper strips or sliced pea pods.
Way hyper
Maybe a few of those salad won ton strips
I loved Paula Dean.
We all as a family binge watched every show food!! All those cake contests, chef tournaments, dDd’s, but Paula Dean is my fav.
Sandra Lee was the the best theme decorator ever. Her food looked amazing!!!
Well tbh back in my day I didn’t watch tv cooking shows. I had four small children so I made kid food a lot but as they got older I’d google recipes or see one in a magazine and today my oldest son is a chef in Greenville SC, my daughter loves to cook and she works with special needs children, my second son is an auto mechanic but he loves to bake and cook and my youngest son has a form of autism but he loves more fresh vegetables with a good cream cheese base to dip and he makes dips for us and I love it!!!! One proud momma over here yall ❤
Awww, sounds like you have four amazing children!! 🩷🤗🩷
@@jessicaodonohue awwww thank you and yes I sure do!!!! They are super great 😊
I miss Emril so much! l miss all of them but i still watch Paula Deen on RUclips... one of my favs was The Kitchen with 4 different chefs and how they approach the same thing differently... Im old enough to remember watching cooking shows on PBS like America's Test Kitchen and Justin Wilson and Julia Childs. Happy cooking Jessica!
Cherry tomatoes would probably be really good in that ranch pasta salad.
I loved Sandra Lee also!! She would also decorate her set to match the recipe, AND her outfit!! She was very sunny and a joy to watch.
I learned soooo much from The Food Network! Emeril and Paula were my faves!
When my grandparents were alive, we had breakfast there every other weekend and Sandra Lee's Semi-Homemade show was always a must to watch! Wow that brings back memories 💜💜💜
The Thai pasta salad looks delicious. Shrimp or salmon would be awesome with it. I may use a rice noodle instead of the bowtie. 😊 great recipes.
Girl, I loved the food network, too. Don't forget Sandra Lee's Halloween specials. They were over the top with her costumes. Have a great day, and thanks for always being positive (Jesus shining through) and having feel good videos.
I love that you can spend your time together camping, and still making awesome and fun videos! I live somewhat vicariously through your adventures!❤️❤️
Yeessss, all the names you named for sure. I can't say I have a favorite, they're all great. Emeril, Sandra Lee, Giada etc etc
Girl you took me back lol! Emeril lagasse with the BAM , Rachel Ray, Paula Deen! And the Iron Chef! my absolute favorite is Alex Guarnaschelli
Omgosh I believe that your dill pickle pasta salad would be outstanding if you use Clausen Kosher dill pickles. They are nestled in the jar with black pepper corns and minced garlic. Delicious they are.
I am certainly going to make your Thai pasta salad and add some rotisserie chicken in it. Thank you for sharing these recipes with us. By the way, you both look fantastic. You're glowing Bunkey's. ❤️
I did too watch the food network old shows! Loved Paula dean miss the old shows!
I am making the taco pasta salad for my lunch next week. Thanks for the idea
Loved Sandra, Rachel ray, Iron Chef, pioneer woman. I loved learning new things.
Jessica I must tell you on the first pasta salad that you made, when you put in the sesame oil it reminded me of how are used to do chicken. I would use wooden skewers that I had soaking in water, my marinade for my chicken which I cut into chunks I would marinate equal parts of soy sauce and sesame oil give it a little whisk and start alternating chicken red bell pepper or yellow bell pepper then whole mushrooms and big chunks of red onion or whatever kind of onion you have. I would marinate the sorry sauce and sesame oil on the chicken at least for four hours but it’s great to put in the fridge to marinate overnight. I just had to comment when I heard you say sesame oil is one of your favorites, mine too!!!!!!
My favorite Food Network chef has always been Alton Brown (Good Eats) 😀
I loved Sandra Lee and the old school Rachel Ray, the holiday specials were my favorites. I still watch the episodes I can find on RUclips. ❤ Same with Decorating Cents, Room by Room and If Walls Could Talk on HGTV. I wish they still had the old shows. 😊 Catalina dressing and Russian Dressing are two that I grew up eating. I love how much you guys love every day together. ❤
Hi, I loved Decorating Cents. Sandra Lee's Table Settings OMG!
Love and miss the pioneer woman….now I love watching you two! ❤
I was just looking at your channel to make sure I didn't miss anything.
We've been on vacation but wanted to share these yummy recipes!!
@@jessicaodonohue oh ok. Missed y'all.
🤣🤣🤣 good one Alma!
I loved semi homemade with Sandra Lee too!! I miss all of those cooking shows. Especially the holiday episodes.
I love Catalina Dressing on taco salad so I think it would be good on this.
Loved Emerill! And love the beastie boys t shirt Bunky. Fight for the right to grill and party,
I loved Sandra Lee, Tricia Yearwood, and especially Ina Garten🥰
I loved Carla Hall. I still make her tuna dip for my husband. She was on at noon with 3 other people. I would come home on my lunch break and watch it.
I still love the food network but Rachel Ray was my all time fave. I also loved Sandra Lee. Especially when she would make a cocktail and just blind pour the alcohol and pour into a HUGE glass! 🫠 I was always like “go Sandra! get your drink on”
I was obsessed with food network for the longest as well! Rachel ray will always be a staple. Sandra Lee was one of my faves too! But Alton brown was my all time fave!!!
What a fun video new person here- one of my favorite parts of your videos besides your very sunny demeanor is Bunkey’s reactions to the cooking at the end he’s so genuinely into the process it’s so nice to see.
I loved SandraLee!!!
I've been thinking about pasta salad so much lately that I started picking up different ingredients so I could put some together!😍
I made so many different types of pasta salad last year and added things I had never had together before!😘
Sometimes you can get an idea from a recipe but just imagine adding other components that would take it over the top!😚
I watched Sandra Lee all the time and loved how she used fresh ingredients with already prepared items for some lovely meals!☺️
You always give us great ideas for new things or improvements on classics that make them irresistible!🤩
Thanks for sharing more amazing recipes!🥰
Rachel Ray.. All the Way!!!! Loved her Thanksgiving and Christmas Specials.. for people that Only had like 2 to 3 people for the holidays... Like myself.. and my kids❤
First salad some cannalini beans and chicken..grilled with all the Asian flavors that is a whole meal 😊 going to the next 😋
I lovveddd Sandra Lee...they need to bring her back 😢❤
Loved Sandra Lee!! Paula Dean too!❤❤❤❤
I love pasta salads, and these all look so yummy! I can’t wait to try the taco pasta salad! I, too, used to watch old school Food Network all the time! I learned so much watching the cooking shows. Rachael Ray was my fave, but I also loved Sandra Lee, Robin Miller, and Trisha Yearwood.
I am not a cartoon fan so growing up I loved watching Martin Yan who I got to meet at college when he did a demo at my culinary school. I also watched the monk who made breads on Saturdays. I do enjoy Mario Batali, Emeril, and Sara Multon.
I think the Thai pasta salad would be good with julienne carrots and bell peppers, shredded napa cabbage, and edamame.
That peanut sesame pasta salad is a staple in our house for years! We make it with angel hair pasta and it’s especially yummy with grilled steaks. Super refreshing for spring and summer! Now I’m going to have to make it this weekend 💗
I loved Sandra Lee, Rachel ray, Emril. Even as a little kid I watched I think the show was called hot tamales. Old school food network was so good!
Yes!! Rachel Rays 30 minute meals was my absolute favorite! Loved Sandra Lee! Alton Brown was my Dads fave back then. I loved that show Rachel had $40 a day. I LOVE RESTAURANT IMPOSSIBLE!!! He is awesome. Diners ears drive ins and dives was also one I watched with my dad. So good. I was a food network junkie too years ago!! I wonder on the taco salad how it would be with ranch and taco Doritos mixed. I’ve had it before with French dressing and it is so good. It works well with the
taco seasoning!
The last one is calling my name!! Need to make it!
Jessica, these all are awesome!! Absolutely love pasta salads!! Thank you. ❤😋
Jessica, I love your nails and the color looks great on you!!❤
My favorite shows were: Rachel Ray 30-min Meals, Paula's Home Cooking, What Will Brian Boitano Make?, Gialda Everyday Italian; I loved them all and would have them on all day when my son was at school. I sure miss those shows, but now I watch the Bunky's!❤
When my grandmother would visit from Georgia back in the 1960's and 70's, she would make tossed salad for dinner every night with chopped up dill pickles in the mix.
Then she would make the dressing from pickle juice stirred into plain mayo. This was before Ranch dressing became popular, but I always loved it and still make
versions of it to this day. So, your bacon, dill, ranch salad really struck a chord with me. Thanks for all 3 delicious recipes!
Absolutely love the dill ranch pasta salad yummy 😋
Loved Tyler Florence! Miss the cooking shows.
That Thai pasta salad is sooo good!
I couldn’t wait to try this! I didn’t have enough regular honey so I added ginger infused honey. I also added grated carrot and chopped jalapeños with the cilantro (fresh from our garden) and green onions, along with 2 cups of rotisserie chicken. Although it is in my fridge cooling, I have tasted it and it is very yummy! Thanks for the great ideas! I enjoy you both so much! My husband and I just celebrated 46 years of marriage and need some fresh recipes in our rotation. Your smiles are a joy!
The pasta salads sound so delicious. I eat a lot of pasta in the summer. By the way, I love your backsplash in your new home!!🥰
I love pasta salad thank you for sharing
I too loved Sandra Lee. I know you don’t like onions, but her crockpot French onion soup is amazing! Another FN chef I like is The Pioneer Woman. My favorite recipe of hers would be her Slow-Cooker Teriyaki Ribs…..to die for!!!!❤❤❤
Sandra Lee as a champion!!!!!!
I loved Rachael Ray and Sandra Lee.
I actually love your yellow nail color! It looks great!
Food Network was basically the only channel I watched back when they had all the good shows that came on back to back. When DVR came out I’d pre record my favorite shows, Rachael Ray was a must but also love Sandra Lee, Bobby, Emerald…sheeesh it’s actually hard to pick 😅 loved most of the shows. We haven’t had cable tv since about 2018 so I don’t actually know what’s on there anymore. 🤷♀️ I just watch whatever I can find on RUclips or whatever I find on My son subscriptions services he has on the fire stick! 😂😂
I loved sandra lee but my absolute favorite is the pioneer woman
God bless all here.
Rotisserie Chicken would be Delish, with those ingredients!!!
I loved Rachael Ray and Emeril
Your nails look so cute! You could grill up some "Asian" inspired chicken and throw it in with the first recipe. Love watching you guys! Enjoy the vacation! Bunkey is awesome with his taco meat heart 🥰
Made the ranch pickle salad for dinner tonight. Yummy.
I definitely agree on the old school food network. I loved all of them lol Now everything is a challenge 😔 I can't wait to try these❤
I loved and miss Sandra Lee’s semi homemade. She made things fun with her cocktails and easy meals.
I know, she was the best! Thanks for watching and we hope you have an amazing weekend! 💕🤗
I loved Sandra Lee! She also did the cook once eat twice where she turned leftovers into something else!
I am in love with your yellow polish! Not at all Ronald McDonald. It's super gorgeous!
Lol that taco pasta is great. 😆😆
Awesome recipes, thanks Bunkys for sharing 👍❤️👍❤️👍
Your pasta salads looked delicious. I’m not sure about the dill pickle one but the other 2 looked good. I want to try the first one and add in lightly steamed broccoli and a snow peas and baby corn maybe. The last one I like to serve in a bowl with rice and lettuce in place of the pasta with grilled chicken and a sour cream ranch dressing. You 2 are the best. Keep up the good work.
Yum Yum.. they looked delicious. Have fune camping.
I loved 30 Minute Meals! Do you remember the show called Sweet Dreams that was all about desserts? I used to watch that every time it came on!!
I love Anne Burrell, Paula Dean actually I loved them all. I still watch Food Network all the time. And I watch y’all and love your channel
🥰 Awww thank you!! Hope you have an amazamazing weekend! 💕
Jessica, great pasta salad recipes. I love the yellow nail polish. 💛
I like to watch Julie Child in black and white❤❤❤. She is one of the first chef to be on Television . I like how she is so dedicated to her craft [ cooking] and allow failure and mistakes to be on Camera . I like that Julie Child laughs about her mistakes and try until she gets it right. I think you two don't shie away from making mistakes and laughing out loud about it .Thank you for being relatable in the kitchen!!!
On a high note, i admired Bunky skills of sclicing Hawaiian dinner rolls, the way he bragged about it was all time epic!!😂😂😂😂
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ sending love all the way from metro Detroit Michigan.
Love ur channel!!! ❤️
I mix taco sauce with Catalina and pour it over top. So good!!
Alton Brown was my favorite.
I would watch Sandra Lee and Racheal Ray too!!!!
Girl yes old school food network. Loved me some Rachel ray. I did the the same thing in college. I loved Giada DeLaurentis also.
I love pasta salad and will definitely be making the first one!! Have a wonderful vacation Bunkys!! I love both of you ❤❤
Hmmmmm...Gotta try the first one. Thank You 🎉. God Bless Y'all.
Black olives would be amazing in the taco pasta salad. 😋
Mmmm, yes! That would be a nice addition! Hope you have a great weekend 🩷🤗🩷
I loved Emerald Lugosi
Semi-Homemade episodes are on Tubi! I luv luv luv watching them!!! 💚❤️💙
Sandra Lee’s Caribbean jerk pork chops were the best!!!
The french/catalina is super good in it and it sounds crazy but it's good cold as well
