Zak Murray Reminded me of when Channel 4 did the series best bits, this version was so much better than what they put out on the finale!

Big Brother needs a massive reboot. It's only on air because CBB rates strongly and C5 have their arm up their back to take the ordinary series as well.
ironically, it's the overbearing effort to "produce" it that is actually killing it. That's been the case for many years, but it's got to crisis levels now. They need to stop, take a breath and stop vying for constant drama. Stories make Big Brother interesting, not stunts. You can have all the arguments and upset in the world, but if you're not engaging with the housemates on any other level then it's not very interesting.
The producers also need to bear in mind that the show is now heading into its 17th year. That is an absolutely enormous run for a TV series. But whereas the show initially attracted a young audience and reflected their lives and attitudes with similarly young housemates, those viewers from way back in 2000 are now mostly middle aged or heading that way fast. The show needs to reflect the aging established fan base by including more older people in the house. It doesn't have to become Last Of The Summer Wine, but it needs to give those potential viewers some housemates who they feel more in touch with.
The other thing is, break the rut. It runs to a highly predictable template these days. The twists and surprises are always pretty much the same year upon year and everybody expects them. The housemates kinda know what's coming, but it gets edited to pretend they're shocked. "Ooh, a secret room, and the supposedly evicted housemates have been watching us from in there the whole time! What a shocker!".
In short, please let's have old skool social experiment Big Brother back. Make it 3 dimensional again and about the complex personalities of people, rather than just bringing out their bad sides for a quick thrill. What is there to lose by trying it for just this one year? The ratings couldn't be much worse, so listen to what the fans have been trying to tell you for years and see what happens when you give them the show they're begging you for. Remember the 5 million viewers on the first night on C5 in 2011? 4 million of them are waiting for a reason to come back.

Didnt bother watching it. I like the old seasons but it's just crap now.
If you didn't watch how can you have an opinion on it? This season was good.

Literally the worst series ever. Helen Brian Nikki and Aisleane were the most entertaining and they weren't even housemates.
I agree with you, it was so bad they had to put four housemates from the previous big brother to make it entertaining and TBH I didn't want Helen to win last year of this one, but after watching this BB I now understood why she won , she was entertaining , controversial, the most talked about housemate, didn't take shit from anyone and made the show lively and full of drama . Even when she had an argument with Aisleyne she had the final word ' good looks like we're both singing from the same Hym sheet. No one can pick on Helen, because she stuck up for herself and she says it how it is. These housemate were boring as hell. I think Marc should of won , I personally think Marc was in the wrong series of Big brother if he was in Big brother 2013, 2014 or 2017, I think that will be better , because these housemates are too laid back and I think Marc's personality/ character was too big for the show.
I think they should bring BB back because I do miss it , and maybe select better housemates and put more people in..........
