BB: Jo, Big Brother has no option but to give you your first and only formal warning.
BIG Brother had a similar chat with Jack.

This was my first introduction to Jade Goody as an American who happened to stumble upon bbuk.

Me too unfortunately. I forgave Jade as she did show genuine remorse but this sadly is the last image of her I have and as for Jo I can't bear to look at her and not surprised the S club reunion tanked as she's just so unlikable.
One of the nastiest and most uncomfortable parts of this was when Jo laughed in Shilpa’s face when she asked for help.

It was racist but in the end when they showed her all of what they said she said it wasn't intended to be racist bc she knew they had really messed up and had no idea the backlash they'd get for bullying an Indian A-lister and she got scared for them and tried to diffuse it. That's why she was crying in the diary room while saying everyone has been nothing but nice to her... it dawned on her that this could end up having a lot of impact. When Jade left shilpa cried in the bathroom saying "I hope and pray to God there are no problems for her out there" ... she knew it was racist ..

Watching this back, unpopular opinion, Jo & Danielle didn’t get half the grief they deserved like Jade did. Jade took the whole brunt of the country’s anger (rightly deserved), but Jo & Danielle deserved that as well. Jo returning in the S Club 7 Reunion like nothing has happened either, disgusting

Totally agree. Danielle got away with everything...even the interview with divina after she got evicted was easy in comparison to Jo and Jade. Tbh I do think Jo struggled afterwards for quite some time. The interview she had with ITV breakfast show a couple of days after she was evicted, she was absolutely broken. Don't get me wrong, she deserved every single bit of it. But Danielle was the one who got away scot free. Jade was savage and gross and disgusting. The other 2 weren't as verbal but just as bad. As someone who was bullied terribly at school between the ages of 8 and 11, watching these 3 bastards laughing and giggling, brought it all back to me. Made me sick watching it then and makes me sick watching it now

This was Jades insecurities about her up bringing and her social class coming to the surface. She was so jealous of Shilpa and it took just one simple sentence for her to explode. This was such a disgusting display from all three girls. Shilpa was a lady throughout the series. When this first happened I was 6…. Although I never really grasped the seriousness of it then, it stuck with me. Somehow found this today, I’m 21 years old now. I can’t even explain how much this angered me. What annoyed me the most were the 2 other girls that just sat there laughing. Of course the only person to mediate was another person of colour. If this had aired on TV today, Chanel 4 wouldn’t exist.
All of these people got extreme backlash at the time. Jade really only had a redemption bc she got cancer.

The most toxic and racist one in this situation was Danielle. Egging Jade on and making racist remarks like ‘she should fuck off home’ and ‘she can’t even speak proper English’. I don't wish illness on anyone. When Jade got ill, I took no pleasure out of it, but I had no sympathy for her also. The media tried it's best to get people to change their minds about her. Sorry, but "NO"
She was so toxic, and that toxicity has to go somewhere and it settles in the body as some sort of dis-ease or another. She was basically drinking poison with her attitude and words. I was not remotely surprised she got sick.

Shilpa still looks amazing and is currently starring in one of the top films on Netflix worldwide. These ignorant bullies could have learned some valuable lessons from her in dignity and class. This episode defined their lives and people saw them for them for what they were, nasty jealous bullies with ugly souls. They were never sorry, just sorry they got exposed.

I like Jade but on this occasion she was bang out of order. Okay fair enough Shilpa wasn’t my cup of tea but she didn’t deserve to be spoken to like that. All over an oxo cube, it doesn’t get more ridiculous than that. That was a low point for Jade.
