I also did not have this show up on my subscriptions page. I found it as a suggestion on my "Home" page. I kept refreshing my subscription page in case it would show up, but it didn't. Odd. I even checked to make sure I was still subscribed, which I was.
Oh my word!! That's a big craft fair! And there are more halls?? Wow!! Is this an annual event? I'd love to be able to attend, though I'd need a lot of money and an extra suitcase to bring it back home with me. It would be worth the custom duties. LOL

I am a new subscriber, just recently found your videos, and enjoying them very much.
All I can say is WOW, I have never seen such a massive crafts fair! I live in a very rural area in the Southern United States. I may never have the opportunity to visit your country myself, but thanks to u I can see all the wonderful (and beautiful) things Finland has to offer. 🥰

You’re welcome! And you are right. This even is huge and it’s sort of more that you can experience in one day.

I had the same thing happen as the other comments :(
Also, this looks really nice! The last time I went to a crafts fair (just a few months before covid) it was 90% scrapbooking and quilting, with pretty much nothing else aside from a couple of yarn stalls and some selling accessories to make bags etc. I was very sad at the lack of diversity.

Quilting has never been super popular here in Finland. Knitting is very bog thing so there’s always a lot of yarn but then, you can use yarn for many other things as well. My dad bought a blade and materials to make a traditional Finnish puukko knife. I like that there was something for men as well as not that many men do finer crafts. Although my dad likes to choose fabrics for the teeshirts my mom then sews to him. It’s also nice to see the products live even if you end up placing an order online later to the same shop.

@@withmyhandsdream I didn't think it had become so popular in my part of Europe either, I always saw it as an american thing, so I was very surprised. All the fabrics were for quilting, nothing for garment sewing.
It's really nice that they have stuff like that too. Honestly the more "hardware store" crafts and fiber arts and the like should share spaces more often, it'd allow for more crossover and for people to discover new things... and also for people to feel less judged for being in a space where they might get judged for their gender presentation lol

Absolutely, and I’d actually be really interested in making my own knife someday. I for my first knife when I turned six and was so angry when one of the kindergarten staff told me that ”girls don’t do woodwork”. I was six and already knew better!

Thank you! Canada is nice, too! I was there a few years ago and got to taste ice wine near Niagara falls!

I think you might have clicked a button somewhere while setting up this video - it's not showing up on my subscriptions page like normal, I only found it because it was a suggestion after another video and I didn't recognise the thumbnail.

Oh, thank you! I was wondering why people didn’t find it!
