Thanks for all your great videos. I have learned so much from you and finally got away from my “clean beauty” brainwashing. My skin is looking better than ever. 💗
Avenes Triacneal cream is amazing!! It was my started retinol. I used it for 2 years before starting tretinoin. It’s super potent and did not irritate my skin at all! And imo the price is amazing.
i used to swear by Avene but realized my moisturizer and cleanser from them had too much fragrances. now i only use their Eau D’Avene water spray and apply hyaluronic acid on damp skin, it’s amazing
I recently got malassezia folliculitis for the first time and I fortunately had Avene's cicalfate creme. It helped me a lot during that because I was not able to use my other moisturizer. Love this brand so far.
Thank goodness a woman at Ulta introduced me to this line. I live in the desert, my skin is very dry, atopic dermatitis and take chemo longterm. Unfortunately, my apartment doesn't allow a water softener but I do have a wonderful shower softener with a filter that removes everything. It works!I I do use Beekman face exfoliating cleanser a couple times weekly which has an oil. I use the create ointment in the blue tube. It is an amazing product. Cerave pm stings my skin so I stopped using it. I really enjoy abalone but it stings so I stopped using that. Aquaphor for body, etc. Dr. Dray spoke about urea acid and I used Kerasal on my hands. Wow! Now my hands have a bit of moisture. Then I just discovered Bio-oil moisturizer (shake first) and it fits the bill. This past week I've been researching different products and will try some of the dry skin products Dr. Dray mentioned recently i.e., Eucerin intensive oil cream, roughness relief, aveeno calm restore, Eucerin eczema reilief body. Yesterday at Ulta I tried the Beekman original hand wash and lotion. They are nice but drying. La Roche Posey products dry out my skin. For the past year I have used the Eucerin Intense body wash and it is very nice but it leaves my skin a little dry. They do have one with 5% urea available online which I will try. Avene is cost more than I would like to spend but it is so worth it. For sunscreen I can have the Cerave, Think Baby (it has a slight smell I'm not crazy about), and Kokua Sun Care Hawaiian natural zinc sunscreen which is reef safe. After watching Dr Dray demonstrate how to layer moistuizer and sunscreen these products no longer pill. The Kokua is really nice, I just smother in my palm then pat on my face and even around my eyes. It does not sting and it dries nicely. I'd like to try the Avene suncreen. I've wanted to try the la Roche sunscreen but worry it will sting. I really wish these companies had sample sizes for sale. Ulta and other store, including the drug stores don't have samples open which is understandable but disappointing.
Loooove the xeracalm cleansing oil it’s my holy grail I’ve repurchased it so many times. Funny thing is, Avène is cheaper in France and they’re actually considered to be on the affordable side. I would love to hear you talk about their moisturizers next !
Appreciate this. It’s helpful to have a “field guide” of what to buy. For some reason CeraVe is disappearing off the shelves and I’m back to using Avene, Bioderma & LRP. Avene is easy to find here in Canada. All 3 of those French pharmacy brands are bad with fragrances and irritants in some of their stuff. But there’s real gems in there too. Thank you!!!!
I use a lot of products around my eyes. Sunscreen, primer, eyeliner, eyeshadows, mascara. I do the double cleanse with Hadolabo and Cerave...everything comes off really well. 😉
I'm so thankful for your RUclips presence! Your thorough explanations and your education are a blessing compared to RUclips influencers promoting the product marketing crap from corporations.
I love the French pharmacy brands. I just have to be careful to choose the products with no fragrance. Thanks for giving us some good choices, Dr. Dray.
Thank you for this! I’m changing most of skincare products and having you review Avène is just what I need because it’s one of the brands I can easily get here in my country! Keep them coming, please!
Today we had very sad news here in Belgium (EU). A 12 year old healthy girl just died of Covid-19 today. She spiked a fever, went to hospital and declined within 3 days. The virologist that made the announcement was visibly shaken. :( It was "thought" that children were immune or at least were better equipped to deal with this. Out goes that "theory". :( It is a sad sad day here in this country. I think this news may become international, but I don't know. Last I looked I could only find Dutch language resources. Anyway, because you probably still have to mingle with people, stay safe, Andrea. Look after yourself, your mom & Tybee. :) Lots of love, from Belgium!
Younger people do have significantly lower mortality rates and chances of serious complications. One case here and there doesn't change that, there's always going to be outliers with something like this. Still, very sad to hear.
Tell that to your neighbours, the Netherlands, which said the COV-19 was something both Spain and Italy should have been prepared for. In case you did not know, THOUSANDS of people have died in our countries.
In the US younger people and newborns have passed away from covid. People need to start taking this sh!te seriously smh but the US still doesn’t have a country wide quarantine 🤦🏻♀️
This is a good idea for a series of videos helping us navigate brands who have numerous products, supposedly targeted at sensitive skin. Avene has some good products, but most of their line isn't suitable for my hypersensitive eczema prone skin. A similar video for La roche posey etc would be helpfu,l as it saves a lot of time looking at ingredients in store. Be well and best wishes.
Thank you Dr Dray. I never heard of this brand. One thing I really appreciate about you is your consideration of cost. I subscribe to your approach that less is often better. I am in my 60s and people always ask me about my skin. I always used very mild cleansers, wore sunscreen and very little makeup. (Also, I was a major work aholic
This is a really amazing brand! I discovered it only this year when I was looking for products that fight rosacea. Thermal water helped a lot as well as their Avene nourishing creme and XeraCalm.
From experience of when I had really compromised and damaged skin barrier, their products broke me out and irritated my skin(I've tried their fragrance free cleanser, cream and sunscreen). The ones I could keep using on my sensitive skin was CeraVe cleanser, the Soon Jung line, basic Vaseline and Elta MD physical sunscreen. My mom uses Avene and has zero problem with them. So although everyone is different, I think you should be careful with this brand if you have extremely compromised skin barrier, but if your skin is somewhat healthy, it should be totally fine
@@Bee-ot9me Of course. Although you probably already know that what works for one might not work for another, so see for yourself what works. For reference I'm Asian, female, 29 and have oily to combination skin, and I live in a very dry and cold climate. My current skincare routine is: Clinique take the day off cleansing balm, CeraVe hydrating cleanser, Soon Jung 2x barrier intensive cream, and top it all with plain Vaseline. In the morning, I only use water to cleanse, and use Elta MD tinted physical sunscreen after the cream and Vaseline. Very important when you apply Vaseline, never put a blob directly on your face as it will form too thick of a layer, instead get a soybean size blob, spread and rub it all over your fingers or the palm of your hands, then pat it onto the skin. You can skip the T zone if it's too oily, but generally this method won't leave a greasy film on the skin. You can check Dr Dray's video on Vaseline if you haven't, it's the best in saving skin like ours, and it's been quite popular in places like Taiwan where people have been using too much skincare products and masks to save their sensitized skin. Another very important thing is not let cleansers stay for more than 30 seconds on your skin, don't use too much of it and make sure it's rinsed off properly with luke warm water. Now I've also been using DIY colloidal oatmeal water to rinse and tone after the cleanse. Dr Dray's also has a video on it. I'd say it's not necessary but it's hydrating and doesn't irritate my skin. I hope this isn't too overwhelming and hope your skin gets better very soon. If you have any questions let me know. I'm more than happy to help. I've been doing this for about 2 months, the redness, sensitivity and acne caused by sensitivity are gone, I still have scarring but I don't want to use any exfoliant or products for scar in order not to sensitize it again. I haven't used any kind of exfoliant because I haven't felt like I needed it. I'd say stay away from it until your skin is thick and healthy again, then use it maybe once a month at most if you're prone to sensitivity. Most skin sensitivity is caused by over cleansing, using too many products and over exfoliating.
@@Bee-ot9me I believe they only have one that's physical and tinted. It has SPF 41. That's the only one I've used from this brand so I don't know how the other ones perform. For this one I like the tint as it can mask some scarring and I don't need to wear makeup on top, but it's a bit drying for the climate where I live. I'm still on the hunt for a better sunscreen but at least it doesn't break me out or cause sensitivity
I agree with the not only wiping cream cleanser off .I did this for a long time as advices by a beautician and it ended up causing roscea like symptoms. I now wipe rinse and then tone .made a big difference
I have both SD and rosacea, and have been using the Extremelly...lotion for quite some time. It does not remove my tinted oil-free mineral sunscreen, so I use it as a second cleanser after micellar water. On days I don't wear sunscreen, it's the only one I use. Pretty happy with my results, since even Vanicream cleanser is too harsh on me. I also use the TOLERANCE EXTREME EMULSION as my moisturizer, and it's the only one my skin can tolerate. There is a rich version with shea butter, which I'm hesitant to try due to my SD. Here, in Europe, it's not that expensive.
Thanks for Headbands of Hope link. I have been looking for headbands in prep for upcoming bad hair days since salons are.closed! Great to see they are donating a mask with purchase of each headband!
Thanks for making this! Would love to see a video in the future with your review/opinions on Avene's fragrance-free moisturizers and/or anti-redness products.
After having had an infection in the roots of my eyelashes (and no I don't wear a lot of eye make-up) I am very fussy about eye make-up removal. Double cleansing doesn't do it, especially for getting close to the roots. I love Avene's gentle eye make-up remover as it doesn't dry out or irritate the eye area nor sting if you happen to get a bit of it in your eye. It also doesn't film up your eyes as oil based double cleansers or bi-phase eye make-up removers do, which is a pain for people with drier eyes since you need to keep those tiny moisture ducts along the lashes clean and unblocked. On the advice of my Opthamologist, I also put some on a Q-tip and do a gentle scrub at the roots once in a while. I do not wear water proof mascara, so I don't know how well it works for removing it. But it gets rid of non water proof well. I also discovered Avene makes a mascara for sensitive eyes that is also nice for dry eyes. It's easy to remove and doesn't flake etc. It won't give you giant lashes or emulate false ones, but it gives good length. If you like a natural look then it might work for you. 😊I shall go in search of their cleansing oil as I love double cleansing for the rest of my face.

Hello Dr. Dray🤗 thank you for educating me on these unfamiliar products! It makes shopping for skincare less intimidating. I pray you and your family, as well as everyone else reading this, are healthy and safe.🌼
For me, the best eyemakeup remover (I wear, waterproof mascara and pencil/eyeliner, etc.) is plain old vaseline. It's really cheap, non irritating and works! I just smear it all over the eye until everything is broken down, then wipe off with a wet washcloth. It comes off perfectly with no pulling of the skin. I find it's really gentle! I've been using it for 40yrs with no problem. What do you think? Everyone seems to hate vaseline but for this job, I think it's great! (and cheap!)
Thank you for reviewing Avene! And yes, please do more reviews on Avene products, like serums and moisturizers! Perhaps you could piggyback some products from LRP and Vichy in there as well :)
This video was very helpful. Since Avene products are a little more expensive than other brands, I can choose a product based on your video that suits me most. I would love to see more videos on Avene - moisturizers, and sunscreens - they have sooo many sunscreens.....
I’ve never used any Avene cleansers before, just their moisturizers and sunscreens. I will definitely try some of the ones you recommended in this video. TY 👏 😃
Not everthing you mention is available in Europe, like the Avene Oil Free Gel Cleanser and RetrinAL. I've looked at the Extremely Gentle Cleanser, but all the ones I could find in store didn't contain Piroctone Olamine and contained Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in stead of Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, therefore I bought the Antiredness one, but it doesn't take of sunscreen very well. Perhaps I will have a look at the Xeracalm AD Cleansing Oil.
After destroying my already sensitive skin with the Ordinary, K-beauty and J-beauty products, as well as AHA/BHA and Retinol, which led to a broken skin barrier, contact dermatitis, Rosacea and finally “Fungal Acne”, Avene Tolerance (Squalane and water) moisturizer for combination sensitive skin is the only moisturizer that works for my skin, without breaking out or irritation. I hope they won’t mess up the formula with green tea, or Niacinamide which I now react badly too, as well as C-vitamin. My skin doesn’t like Squalane from Olive oil either so dunno what source they use, fruit? They did the same with my favorite Japanese sunscreen, so had to switch to the Japanese Nivea version, which irritates due to the alcohol, but no other sunscreen works for me. My only con is the size/amount of product you get. 50 ml is way too little. 100 ml should be minimum. Also because of fungal acne I can’t use any oil cleanser, as that’s asking for death in regards to break outs. What I don’t get is that Inused to be a hwavy user of fce mists before I fucked uo my skin, particularly from MAC, not the one with green tea as it would always sting, but whenever I try thermal spring water, it really irritates my skin. Like it really triggers my Rosacea. My face is red, and it doesn’t go down afterwards either, and it’s “just water”. Even regular tap water doesn’t do that to me😭😭😭 I live in Norway and here you can drink straight from the sink. It’s one of the purest waters in the world.
Loved this video! I use Avene everyday and it’s changed my skin for the better. Would love to hear your thoughts on their Tolerance line and their moisturizers.
Thank you for sharing the use of avene products, I've been dealing with seborrheic dermatitis for so long but when I tried the avene soapless foaming gel which is recommended by my Dermatologist it really works, I love avene so much 😊
I miss their antiredness cleansing milk so much! It’s what got me through adapting to tretinoin initially. They unfortunately reformulated it and the new formula has propylene glycol which Im allergic to. I now use vanicream’s cleanser instead. Their skin recovery cream is still great though and also helped me get through the initial tretinoin acclimation process, but I use cerave in the tub instead now because it’s similar and cheaper.
Yay Avene is available in the grocery near me -Habolabo cleaning oil for 2 step cleaning is the best I've tried thanks to Dr. Dray. Btw , my skin is super oily and habolabo when applied to wet skin doesn't feel like oil.
I’ve used the Clenance line for 17 years, but since I moved to the US, I find very hard to find Avene products. I just ran out of my last bottle and decided to try the HadaLabo gentle cleansing you’ve talked about. I really like it!
To me, the avene cleanance blue cleanser is very stripping, even though i have oily acne prone skin. I find that it leaves me very dry and irritates my skin. I switched it with the cerave oily skin cleanser and it is great! Leaves my skin hydrated without grease
After a bout w scalp contact derm my histamines went nuts and now my whole body is in itch mode. IDK what's going on. Have an appt w my neuro (yeah I know...but he is versed in alot of issues and mine, and no doctors here in bodunk where I am). I think this contact event triggered some sort of mast cell thing. The long awaited point is...I have been cutting out my usuals. And had some Avene Gentle lotion trial sizes in my cabinet! Had to use for my entire bath. They have helped so much! Been an avid skin recovery cream user for years. Cant Believe they are discontinuing it! I mostly trust Avene products in general and just ordered the cleansing oil and moisturizer as the cleanser does not come in "bath size". I Loved this video. It was straightforward and got to the important points. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing! I absolutely love the Avene extremely gentle cleanser lotion. Ironically didn’t know it had anti fungal properties and I have seborrheic dermatitis around my nose and eyebrows and double cleansing with this and Bioderma micellar has helped so much
Speaking of working out, after watching your recent video with the rebounder, I did some research about them to see if it was something I could do with my osteopenia. As it turns out, it's one of the best forms of exercise for this condition. I ordered one from Wayfair and can't wait for it to arrive! :-) Hope you are staying safe and healthy Dr. Dray. Happy Tuesday! :)
I have come to the conclusion that there is something in Avene products that I am allergic to. I have tried multiple cleaners and moisturizers and I break out in hives every time!!
I have a mature skin, I used Avene bar and didn’t like it, my skin becomes very dry, but I use now QV bar with ph 6, is very gentle to my skin. QV bar win. ✌🏼
hi! I love your videos they’re so informative and helpful! Id for you to make a video on how to lessen the appearance of a scar from a hemangioma. I know its not very common , but any tips would be super helpful ❤️
This is great! I'm still looking for my holy grail first step in my double step cleanse and I might try the extremely gentle cleansing lotion. I LOVE their Cicalfate cream which was given to me by an esthetician after a laser treatment, but I had NO idea where to start after that because like you said, they have so much!!
Thank you so much for the Avene cleanser roadmap. Looking forward to a review on their moisturizers and the Tolerance line which is also fragrance-free. Question: I know you've said it's so hard to predict what makes skin react poorly, any clue why the Avene Gentle Cleanser (as well as the LRP Dermo, which is similar in texture) makes my face go nuts (hot and bothered)? I was so hopeful.
Great video! Might give the cleansing lotion a try 👌. The only thing I've tried from Avene is a tinted sunscreen which was way too dark and greasy for my skin.
I sbsolutely love the Xera Calm cleansing oil & the extremely gentle cleanser for double cleansing. Bought these in France,as they are so well priced there, but have'nt repurchased them, as they are quite pricey here in Oz. Hope you, ur mom & Tybee are safe & well
Are you troubled with not knowing where it is sourced, or by something else? After you said that, I noticed the mica in the ingredients list. I use vanicream cleanser, too, and I really love it because it is so gentle. I wonder what mica does in a cleanser 🤔
@@Roll587 oh, please let me know what you find out. Mica is in so many products, especially makeup. It's for the glitter/shine, so I don't see why it would be in a cleanser. But I am deeply troubled by child labor, too, so please let me know what you find out, if they are transparent about it. Thanks so much...
Just ran out of my loccitane cleanser to use after my heavy take off the day Clinique cleanser. Going to give the extremely gentle cleanser lotion a go now, based on your recommendation. Thanks 🙏
I used tobe an Avene user for years back in my 20s and it really worked for me. But since i turned 30 inoticed my skin changed and i figured i need to change my skin care routine too it doesn’t work for me the way itdid before. Now I am obsessed with la roche posay
@@cocosmith12 from Avene or La Roche posay? I have always suffered with acne and I had extremely oily skin. Avene was my favourite back then. Now in my 30s my skin started to change and I noticed Avene wasnt working for me anymore, it is the age or maybe other lifestyle factors that affect my skin. I looked into other brands and I discovered La roche posay. I love the Hydreane Legere creme it is not for oily skin but more for sensitive skin type and it isn’t very heavy. I have been loyal to that and repurchase it many times. in my mid30s now i developed and i am diagonosed with eczema cronica (my skin is so problematic!) and la roche posay has the line for this skin issue as well. I use the Lipikar baume which is incredible for both face and body. I just think that la roche posay products are very gentle from their oily skin line, sensitive skin to atopic skin types. They are not cheap but not expensive either but it’s all worth the money
I've used the Avene Extremely Gentle Cleansing Lotion as a second step after using either Pond's Cold Cream Fragrance Free or Hada Labo Cleansing Oil to remove makeup for my first step with great success. My skin is left soothed but not dry. I have to avoid fragrance whether synthetic or natural like the plague for my face; otherwise, I end up with irritation, redness and dryness.
I also currently use it as a second cleanse it's great 🖤 I use the honest beauty gel to milk as a first cleanse before best combo I have had in a very long Time !
@@lavietreschere9309 The scent in the Honest Beauty Gel To Milk Cleanser would be disastrous for my skin. I have to avoid fragrance completely for skincare.
Can someone please explain me how to use this Avene extremely gentle cleansing lotion (antifungal)? Do I use micellar water and then Avene cleanser lotion and face cleanser?
Could you give us tips for rosacea sufferers double cleanse.? I wear sunscreen and reply often and have very sensitive skin so I just use eucerin ph5 bar to remove it at night but sometimes I feel it might not be enough cleaning. Thank you for your sincere and honest videos.
Hi Andrea, could you please make a video comparing thermal waters, Avene, Uriage, Vichy? Are they good to optimize moisture? I’m thinking to use thoughout the day for hyaluronic acid to have more moisture to trap maybe? Or to use on the plane? Hugs from London, UK ❤️
I can’t find that avene cleanser that has the anti fungal on their website, I think they changed things! Hope you do more avene updates! I would like to know if they still have one that does the same thing!
The XeraCalm Cleansing Oil's instructions say to use it with wet hands which isn't the usual way to use a cleansing oil (which requires that you use it first with dry hands on a dry face.) Dr. Dray, Will the XeraCalm Cleansing Oil used with wet hands on a dry face to remove makeup work as a first step without irritation?
Hi Dr. Dray-I absolutely LOVE your videos. Can you please do a review on the new black girl sunscreen? I would love to hear your knowledge if it is a good sunscreen or not. Thanks
Great info! I would love to see more videos about Avene products. I’m allergic to phenoxyethanol and am finding it very challenging to find quality products. Avene is a good line for me as they offer a lot without phenoxyethanol. However, there are soooo many options.
I hope you, Mom, and Tybee, have had a great day so far. I was given a gift of avene once but I don't remember what I thought about it, probably had fragrance in it.
Ohhh, Dr. Dray.... Demodex in ophthalmology... It is like Captain Crunch under the microscope in the examination headrest we use-- the slit lamp. I have seen it caking eyelids and eyelashes... hygiene is so so so important!!!!
I miffed at the Thermal spring water but my face went crazy in the fall and was open to any help and now I have terrible dermatitis around my mouth. It is a significant help when I use that. I am out and am running to get some more.
Hi Dr. Dray, I know this isn’t really on topic of this video, but I have a question about differin adapalene gel for acne. Once the acne has been cleared, how long should the product to be used to ensure no resurfacing? Love your videos, they have helped me so much with my skin care!
I'm so glad you review french and other european products since i can mainly get them in my country.
The first night treatment product my Dermatologist recommended to me was Avene Triacneal. For three years it kept my acne truly at bay. It saved me.

Avenes Triacneal cream is amazing!! It was my started retinol. I used it for 2 years before starting tretinoin. It’s super potent and did not irritate my skin at all! And imo the price is amazing.

@@skippy8696 Yes I was thinking... what about the girl's parents. :( 12 years old is no time to go!
@@luciagarcia5272 And how many very young children?
In the US younger people and newborns have passed away from covid. People need to start taking this sh!te seriously smh but the US still doesn’t have a country wide quarantine 🤦🏻♀️
This is a good idea for a series of videos helping us navigate brands who have numerous products, supposedly targeted at sensitive skin. Avene has some good products, but most of their line isn't suitable for my hypersensitive eczema prone skin. A similar video for La roche posey etc would be helpfu,l as it saves a lot of time looking at ingredients in store. Be well and best wishes.
I totally tried the tissue off method and it broke me out. I’m glad I’m rewatching this video !
I have the same problem like you. Can you recommend some skincare produces like moisturizer, sunscreen you used on your damage skin. Thank you ^^
@@Bee-ot9me Of course.
@@Losshe which elta md.sunscreen you use ?
I love Avene! And the cleansing lotion real works. I used it for years and it was great
Thanks for Headbands of Hope link.
They had an Avene sale at my pharmacy which never happens. I was so happy. Thanks for this video.

I use La Roche-Posay everyday. The products are amazing since I have a very sensitive skin... Love anthelios Shaka fluid.. is the best sunscreen
TY 👏 😃
I wouldn't recommend using the cleansing oil on the face, I don't know why but it stings the eyes like a lot... but on the body it is great 🤗
Sindi Garunja i had the same experience.
Omg me too! I bought it for this video but I think I won't use it on face, it dries me :(
Love using the XeraCalm for shaving my legs too! Been using this as a body cleanser and for shaving for over a year now and a little goes a long way.
Great tip! I just bought it today and will definitely try it with shaving too!
Same! Absolutely amazing to shave with. So smooth and no irration afterwards.
This is literally PERFECT timing! I have spent the last two days trying to figure out which cleanser to buy, thanks so much! :D
Hi Dr. Dray! Stay safe everyone! 😊
You too!
Wondering what your thoughts are on the skincare line “ren” and what you think of their spf 🧴
Great question
I think a lot of it has fragrance, so I doubt she recommends it.
Even their sensitive skin line has fragrance... hard pass
The spf didn’t work for me, it left the worst cast
Not everthing you mention is available in Europe, like the Avene Oil Free Gel Cleanser and RetrinAL. I've looked at the Extremely Gentle Cleanser, but all the ones I could find in store didn't contain Piroctone Olamine and contained Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in stead of Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, therefore I bought the Antiredness one, but it doesn't take of sunscreen very well. Perhaps I will have a look at the Xeracalm AD Cleansing Oil.
Peter Kloosterman you can try the cleanence cleanser from avene ,it is very similar
Praying you and your Mom are healthy and safe 🙏🏻❤️
Thank you for sharing the use of avene products, I've been dealing with seborrheic dermatitis for so long but when I tried the avene soapless foaming gel which is recommended by my Dermatologist it really works,
I love avene so much 😊
I miss their antiredness cleansing milk so much!
Yay Avene is available in the grocery near me
-Habolabo cleaning oil for 2 step cleaning is the best I've tried thanks to Dr.
Ulta has some products
Ironically didn’t know it had anti fungal properties and I have seborrheic dermatitis around my nose and eyebrows and double cleansing with this and Bioderma micellar has helped so much
Do you start with the micellar water or the cleanser lotion?
I just picked it up today. Do you put it on a dry face or wet your face first?
Jac Lyn I use the micellar water on a reusable cotton round to remove makeup/sunscreen and then follow up with the avene
Valerie I think the brand says you can use it on dry skin but I like to wet my face first and rinse off with luke warm water
Whenever I’m wondering about anything skincare related, an issue or products, I search on RUclips and Dr Dray has a video on it 😂 THANK YOU
Speaking of working out, after watching your recent video with the rebounder, I did some research about them to see if it was something I could do with my osteopenia. As it turns out, it's one of the best forms of exercise for this condition. I ordered one from Wayfair and can't wait for it to arrive! :-) Hope you are staying safe and healthy Dr. Dray. Happy Tuesday! :)
I used (in 2019) Avene Cleanance and I really liked it, I have not tried any of the ones mentioned in the video.
I have come to the conclusion that there is something in Avene products that I am allergic to. I have tried multiple cleaners and moisturizers and I break out in hives every time!!
I really love the headband trend 😍 and earring hoops ...oh 😍 Dr. Dray you look beautiful everyday
I have a mature skin, I used Avene bar and didn’t like it, my skin becomes very dry, but I use now QV bar with ph 6, is very gentle to my skin. QV bar win. ✌🏼
I love avene products. I flip between avene and la Roche posay. More cerave though for budget reasons. Thanks for another great video. Stay healthy
I love their stuff. Especially Cicalfate both the ointment and the post procedure.
hi! I love your videos they’re so informative and helpful! Id for you to make a video on how to lessen the appearance of a scar from a hemangioma. I know its not very common , but any tips would be super helpful ❤️
Kelsey Eldridge yea please 🙌🏻
This is great! I'm still looking for my holy grail first step in my double step cleanse and I might try the extremely gentle cleansing lotion. I LOVE their Cicalfate cream which was given to me by an esthetician after a laser treatment, but I had NO idea where to start after that because like you said, they have so much!!
Hey have you tried that one? How was your experience?
Hope you, ur mom & Tybee are safe & well
Does the cleansing oil remove sunscreen and makeup well?
I'm interested in your thoughts on more Avene, La-Roche Posay, Bioderma, and Vichy products
Perfect timing as I need to change my moisturizer and cleanser
Awesome!! I love my Vanicream cleanser, but I've been hearing some troubling things about the mica in it.
mica is not troubling, unless using an abundance of mica, then that is irritating
Are you troubled with not knowing where it is sourced, or by something else? After you said that, I noticed the mica in the ingredients list. I use vanicream cleanser, too, and I really love it because it is so gentle. I wonder what mica does in a cleanser 🤔
Fran Ameri I’ve heard about irritation and child labor. My skin loves the cleanser, so I’m going to ask Vanicream how they source the mica.
When is the best dry skin care of 2020 coming out? I literally can't wait. Love you ♥️
I'm guessing December...
Which products are you using from them?
And what type of skin do you have please. Thank y for sharing
I love avene. The xeracalm is the only cream that helps my face.
Can the Avene extremely gentle cleansing lotion (antifungal) be used as the second cleanser after an oil or balm?

Could you give us tips for rosacea sufferers double cleanse.? I wear sunscreen and reply often and have very sensitive skin so I just use eucerin ph5 bar to remove it at night but sometimes I feel it might not be enough cleaning. Thank you for your sincere and honest videos.

Glad you like them!
Love this!! Please do more of these with other brands!!

As always Dr. Dray you give great advice. Thank you for your time and dedication.

Great info! I would love to see more videos about Avene products. I’m allergic to phenoxyethanol and am finding it very challenging to find quality products. Avene is a good line for me as they offer a lot without phenoxyethanol. However, there are soooo many options.
Saaaaame, im also terribly allergic to phenoxyethanol, and its in almost everything. Driving me insane.
Omg I love avene the redness line is amazing
What is the redness line? I've never heard of it...
I hope you, Mom, and Tybee, have had a great day so far. I was given a gift of avene once but I don't remember what I thought about it, probably had fragrance in it.
