Yeah I started late but I learned fast and all it takes is practice and dedication. It took me only a few months for me to start doing Mozart and this kind of songs but I practiced day and night so it helped me learn fast
I Love It at 01:30 where it's added the little theme that sebastian practices in his house alone in some part of the movie, as well as listens to it in his car radio Such attention to detail!!
I'm amazed how the fact that the page dropped didn't distract him at all. Without a doubt, an incredible pianist. I wish to play the piano like that someday. This is magic.
Since I was little I was trained professionally to play clasical music. When i discovered jazz was when i felt really alive with music. But just now i began to learn jazz in piano and oh man! It’s another world! this videos inspire me so much!! ♥️♥️♥️
I was waiting for this after City of Stars. Love how you're melding technical jazz playing with these catchy melodies that are so characteristic of musical theater. So good.
@@yonathandrew8313 I'm playing it right now as part of the la la land suit and I've never done jazz before and I was gonna cry because I just couldn't get it to sound right after like 20 mins straight practising just a few bars then I realised my dumb ass was playing it in the wrong key because I thought it was a majot not e major I don't even know how I could make the mistake lol but not I fixed that the walking bass wasn't hard atal and this is coming from someone who's first time experimenting with jazz so just give it a go
When people watch piano they don't realize how many rules you have to follow to get that flowy jazz rythem going. It's not just reading notes, but reading the tiny signatures and swaying with the beat of the music to make it as authentic as possible
By far, the best piece I've heard in a while. Please keep making great, and I mean GREAT music and jazz in particular. And if it's from La la land, be sure that I'll listen to it 20 times a day.
If I were a color-based synesthete, I would be overwhelmed by how many warm, soothing colors this beautiful arrangement shows. A literal rainbow of warm colours...
Wow that was truly magical arrangement ! I’m classically trained… thinking will i be able to learn such a gorgeous jazz arrangement ? I can try… why not!
Thank You Jacob for such a fabulous rendition of this wonderful piece of music. Your concept was so much fun and musically satisfying. I'm sure Justin Hurwitz would be proud.
> Takes the hardest song to recreate La La Land
> Plays it with ease
> then makes harder
Dis guy.
He doesn't call himself the mad arranger for nothing
Anybody want to adapt this to synthesia. I can't read music but really want to play it lol.
@@TomRozTV then learn to read music. It really helps you in the long run, and not at all time consuming
Tuan Minh Tran it definitely takes some time to read music. Especially harder pieces like this
John Trageser true... but it what makes instrument so beautiful.
This is why I want to learn how to play the piano
I feel you bro. :(
Sianxy it's never to late to learn! Just takes a lot of work and you'll get there! :)
Sianxy yeah me to I really want to know how to play but I really have to think about the process of learning😂
Russel Productions honestly tho

I was waiting for this after City of Stars. Love how you're melding technical jazz playing with these catchy melodies that are so characteristic of musical theater. So good.

Yeah there is so much more to playing jazz well than just playing the notes. It takes a long time to get the feel to not sound stiff.
