- Welcome everyone on the Singapore Airlines A380 from Mumbai to Singapore in Business Class!
There are only two A380 services operating daily from Mumbai, and that’s Emirates to/from Dubai and Singapore Airlines to/from Singapore. As I’ve published the Emirates experience before it’s now SQ’s turn.
The journey starts with a visit to the Adani Lounge, which is to my surprise one of the nicest I have visited.
After, an incredible team of flight attendants welcomes me on the SQ A380 in Business Class and offer me a stunning and memorable service.
While the crew are 10/10, SQ is not, in my opinion, the best airline in the world as some things have to improve service quality wise.
I’ll mention them and let me know in the comments if you agree or not.

I was literally talking about flying Singapore Airlines A380 on the same route with my parents and I see this. This is more than a coincidence. Great to see more premium products on the channel! I just dont like how the business class seat looks but still cool.

I dont see what improvements it has made.
I used this airport to transit in 2018 and 2019.
I felt the same in this video also.
However, many government run airports in India have improved once they have given a role to private management.

@@rafioo7jbAdani has massively improved the efficiency of the airport seamless experience on terminal especially in the last one and half year I assure you it’s way diff than the cluttered mess CSMIA was pre and just post pandemic as well

Was nice to see they left you a little present. 🍸 I agree Spanish wines are very underrated down south, though here downunder we can get a great range now, Freixenet sparkling, and a good Verdejo are my top faves. It was indeed, but sadly too late at night..
SQ and EK A380s from BOM are red eye flights because they are scheduled to conveniently connect passengers to other destinations such as Europe, North American flights
There is one thing,which i dont like on a380.. small and strange windows, quite bad for filming.. but it can't work somehow..😅 Would like to tryout their Suites one day..
You said you are flying to Prague in Quites, there was an plane change to B777, must be you! If yes, i have pics of your arrival, so if you want i can send it to you 😊
I ACCIDENTALLY booked another SQ A380 flights to tryout their dinner/lunch service... I swear it was an ACCIDENT 😅😅

Singapore Airlines is one of the best of Asia. I frequently travel their SIN-CCU route and it is the best.

Awesome video, as always. I am always surprised by how BOM and DEL routes routinely manage to fill the entire business class cabin on the SQ and EK A380s. Maybe Air India made a mistake by not acquiring A380s in a premium-heavy configuration for their flagship routes.
I think they did a big mistake with that as it’s almost always full, even economy. EK, EY, QR and others fly lots of wide bodies a day between both countries and always full!

I like the Emirates B777! There are some video’s here on the channel. But I much prefer their A380.

Not a fan of Indian food, but I would eaten that over that lobster Thermidor - didn’t look very appealing? I mean Escoffier would be turning in his grave.

I once went on the business class on their A380 from Delhi to Singapore. Their service was top level and it was too good . I felt private in the business class seat. It was one of the two only airlines in which I flew in an A380 (The other one was emirates). Their airport is also too good that if you go, you will even forget that you are in an airport. Singapore is too good everywhere, even their airline and their airport.
Singapore airlines is expensive even in economy, but its worth it.
1:50 noticed you always buy the crew treats.
Do you give it to them before departure or after arrival?
Whenever I notice I won’t bother. I really don’t think much about it.
Sometimes crew will come to introduce themselves on some airlines and I’ll just give it then. Or by the door on boarding if there is nobody behind me.

I have a first class suite booked on this same route with Singapore airlines by end of this month.

Someone told me airbus aircraft a350 a380 etc tend to be more spacious slightly wider seats etc in economy compared to Boeings 777 300 or the 787 in your experience do you think the same

Unless the Boeing aircraft have a 3-3-3 configuration on the B777 or 2-4-2 on the B787, which is SUPER rare.
I flew SQ business class from DPS > SIN > LHR last year. Impressions were that the service is consitently 5* but the food I was served on all flights was dissapointing and a much lower standard than QR. I also don't like how it's difficult to see out of the window on the business class seat and how you can't dine on demand...

I would definitely say Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico, India, Hong Kong and the UAE are the spots which are amongst the best.

Nope! I don’t mind paying for a good sleep if I’ve got to work, but not even 4 hours you can get on this flight is enough..
But the experience to at least try is ok!
SQ crew should have invited the Aviation geek to see the cockpit.. but they never do. SQ , MH and QR are not very Aviation geek friendly
Almost no airline is nowadays. And I understand. Pilots can get into trouble. I could contact the airlines directly to ask but am a bit lazy to do so. Who knows some day!

Why Singapore airlines send the Airbus A380 to India, even though it's a 5 to 6 hour medium haul flight.
Due to huge demand, i suppose.. It also helps them get the US onbound passengers, since the number of US passengers are also huge.. Hope this answer helps..

Emirates should only be the Airline to fly A380 to India. Singapore Airlines is the largest operator of both A350 and 787-10
A350 for Mumbai and 787-10 for Delhi!
The more A380, the better! It’s a comfortable plane plus it carries double the amount of people as the A350. And this flight was full. It’s hard to get slots into Mumbai.
@@TheLayoverAviation But the A380 is my least favorite aircraft model of this Airline because this airline is my favorite airline for Airbus A350s. My other primary favorite A350 operators including Qatar and Lufthansa are still flying A380s, but Qatar and Lufthansa are not my favorite airlines for A380 anymore. As a Singaporean, I choose Emirates instead of Singapore for the A380. The A350 is much more versatile than A380.
Most favorite airline for the A380's son, the Airbus A350.
This shows India only revolves around Mumbai-Delhi-Hyderabad-Bangalore-Ahmedabad. Poor old Kolkata where time stands still as if 1970s SQ only throws in little planes even though Kolkata is closer to Singapore. A lack of vision and willingness to push Kolkata out of the old Havana syndrome and making it a hub in South Asia - still a far cry.
I chose to travel from Kolkata as i wanted to explore Kolkata 😊 but yes the airport needs an upgrade in various departments, i wish to see it closer to new airports like Hyderabad or Bangalore one day.

Why Singaporean artists try to make aviation beautiful by having it the luxurious way to travel from and to India?
I do not like alcohol served before the flight and on flight especially above and beyond a small quantity. People binge then get pissed on the flight and make others pissed off at them for their behaviour!
Not all get like that.. I’ve never made a scene and many others don’t. It’s just a minority that has no idea how to drink or pair beverages with meals.
