Hvordan går båten i 17-18 kn?
hi again, can you tell me if the new trans spins in the same direction as the old one? meaning , the mounting points on the cable I have are reversed, which I can easily remedy, just curious Im just about ready for the install of the new engine,
can you tell me if the new engine fits in the same space as the 30?, also, excuse my questions, but is the additional venting and fan for the intercooler? as I am considering this as well on my 26 thanks
South West Florida Aerial - yes it does, the feet line up, but you have to upgrade the water inlet as it’s too small for the more powerful engine. Also notice that the 31 is quite a bit wider than the 30 op top, and that the gearbox is bigger also.
thanks, there must be a couple of versions of that engine, as mine looks very similar to the original 30 Im picking it up tomorrow and making the swap soon, also can you tell me about the venting that you did in this video? I assume the original flange to the prop shaft can be used, ?to me it looks identical
South West Florida Aerial - yes. The old one was 18x18, and the engine was reaching 3100 rpm. The new prob. is 17x16, and should fint better, giving something lige 600 rpm extra.

can you pleaes tell me what prop is being used with that engine, seems the old prop needs to be updated,, thanks

We have mounted a 17x16 prob for this season giving a top-speed of 16.8 to 17.2. You are right, the old prob was too steep with 18x18.
