Victorian Housekeeping is such a unique concept. To have each member be a reference to old horror literature characters/archetypes is such a novel idea.

Lycaon- Wolf man and his name is actually based off one of oldest werewolf stories.
Corin- Frankenstein
Ellen- Gill man ( while she could also be reference to shark movies, especially Jaws.)
And the haunted doll girl as well
@@meepswag35 Yeah, each one's based on western horror tropes. So far, it's stuff like Frankenstein, Sharks (Like the Jaws movies) and scissors, Werewolves and ghosts/haunted dolls.

I would say Rina sits between the 2 concepts: a ghost and a puppeteer.
If I were to go on specifics, I will said she takes inspiration on a Poltergeist, a kind of ghost that is capable of interacting with the physical world.

I love the set-up for this group being that Von Lycaon has to do everything because his colleagues are incompetent in various ways
Beyond that, they each gravitate to the specific tasks they're incompetent at while having actual skills they don't deign to acknowledge. Reminds me a lot of early "Black Butler".
@@DanaOtkenNow that you mentioned I can understand why the last scene was so familiar. In the early manga Sebastian had to do almost everything in the mansion, which made us wonder why the other servants were even hired. Then each one of their stories is revealed, and, in Sebastian's words from what I remember, a maid and an assassin aren't so different, both of them have to remove the dirt from their master's daily life, be it dust from their house or people they don't like. I wonder if in ZZZ we'll have something similar.
And even he’s more of an idiot than he lets on. That sloppy excuse out of eating the food and the tail wag in his trailer make that somewhat clear
Reminds me of corin character intro on released where it talks her up with her basically going that isn’t me please don’t send this out they will misunderstand, also the feedback form they showed of someone who hired Corin with 3 possible 4 stars of capability, Quality and Attitude, with a comment.
Corin scored 4, 3 and 2, mainly because to start with they found her skittish attitude unsettling though she did a great job at every task given even if why did she always look scared should that not be me with her carrying her chainsaw looking thing, also that is just a fancy looking brush right.
Also the whole Lycaon sometimes has his feral nature leak out

i have always hated how stiff the hoyoverse characters' movements and animations were, but this is AMAZING. ITS SO FLUID AND NATURAL (but the extra details on the boobs was... interesting. not interesting. hopefully if i get her the gameplay wont focus on it too much)
