Yes, I still prefer the sound from the AirPods Max. But if you are unsure, you should try both. Assuming you find the XM5s to sound better, the fit is also very important to me, and the XM5s aren’t very comfortable during long use. But honestly, either way you go, you’ll be happy. They’re great in their own way.
can you please tell me if i can completely turn off ANC as well as the transparent/ambient mode on Sony wh1000xm5 and just use them as regular headphone when i am in a quiet environment without any special effects going on in my headphone
Which ones you like the most between the two and why? PS. I forgot to speak about the noise cancellation. Is great in both but I think is slightly better on the AirPods Max. However, you can't go wrong with either of them. Make sure to try them out before making a decision to make sure you get the one that fits best.
That stupid bra case, the inability to turn them off, unfoldable design, the trampoline head band that starts to sag after 6 months or so, a bit too heavy, so many things they need to improve.. but they are still fantastic, the XM5 feel plasticky and creaky/cheap, they don't sound as good and the ANC isn't as good, so I got rid of mine and got the Airpods.
@@CristianSilvagnoli not long unfortunately, but it's not actually a huge problem, you just get a silicon insert which makes the band comfortable again. Disappointing for the price though.
@@CristianSilvagnoli That was quick thanks a lot! By the way, is there any difference between the first-gen AirPods Max and the new USB-C model? It’d be awesome if you could make a video comparing them!
The one main huge reason why I went and purchased the AirPods Max (USB C) version which with tax came out to be $600! is I love to sleep with headphones on. These don't break and if they do chances are very low. Now if I had gone for a $450 Sony XM5 well they would 100% break first night. Sony headphones are made out of plastic. Even Bose, Beats, and others are made out of cheap plastic. AirPods Max are made out of tough materials and that is the main reason why they heavy. They won't break that easy.
It’s wild that you don’t focus on the most important thing on these headphones. Sound and ANC…
do the airpods max still sound better than the xm5's even with LDAC support and the customizable eq?

I believe you can as long as you use them wired, but that takes the fun away from them. Hope it helps ✌🏻
@@CristianSilvagnoliThere is an option on the app.
Can the Sony XM5 fit in the Airpod Max case?
Nope.
Lol what

@@DigiDriftZone I'm curious to see how long the top mesh will last but as of now, they're definitely my favorite headphones I've owned.

@@DigiDriftZone I’ll keep an eye on them. 👍🏻

@ALVINTRA At first, I was expecting something new, but they’re exactly the same besides the type-C port.
More videos on it soon!
Is there any pouch like the airpods max case compatible with the xm5s ?
I haven’t seen any but I’m sure some company out there made something similar. If I find something, I’ll let you know.

Never thought about this use case, but when it comes to durability, nothing comes close to the AirPods Max. 👌🏻
