Extremely welldesigned tutorial. Straight to the point. Not a lot of around talking cripcrap. Worldclass! I wish all tutorials could be like this. U rock.
This is not SYNCING, its subscribing and adding the Google Calendar to Outlook. But it is only a one-way system, since Outlook only downloads events from Google but you cannot add or edit new events to google. Which needs to be done through 3rd party software. Useless guide
Nice tutorial. My google calendar now shows up on my business Outlook calendar. One question.... would I be able to modify my google calendar FROM Outlook? Or is it for viewing only?
Change the name of this video to “one time import google calendar to outlook”. This is a worthless tutorial as it is not an ongoing sync with the account.
I have Microsoft Outlook (I pay annually for the pkg) but my outlook (which is linked to my Yahoo account) does not say what's on your screen. It has Create new calendar but no where do I get the option to subscribe from the web. I also didn't have the "secret code" thing.... HELP!!
The tutorial is good but..................unless I'm wrong, this appears to be the way to have Outlook get calendar information from my Google Calendar. I want my Google calendar to sync to my Outlook calendar. The opposite. (Right now I have to save my Outlook Calendar to a file on my hard drive and then import that file into Google calendar.
this worked for me: Enabling the Secret iCal url for G Suite users If the Secret address in iCal format is missing in your calendar settings it will be because your G Suite Admin needs to enable this option (it is, by default, disabled). Go to the G Suite Admin Dashboard and login Click Apps Click G Suite Click Calendar Click Sharing Settings Go to External sharing options for primary calendars and select Share all information, but outsiders cannot change calendars
I don't know about phone app, but the function is not there for windows 10 app, you have to go online to do this, which is really counter intuitive and difficult to get info about.

It's literally not syncing shit lol its importing one way only
Simply brilliant video.. No messing, easy to follow and does what it says on the tin. This worked for me. Thank you.
Hi Team,
After integrating the calendar to Outlook, the information won't sync properly.
Any idea as to why and how to fix?
Synced from outlook to google fine, but when I add events in the google app they dont appear on the outlook app?
Same issue here. Is this an admin thing being blocked ?
Thank you! Finally found someone who is current with the information, clear communicator, and finished in 2 minutes!!!!
This imports only a one-way snapshot of the google calendar. It doesn't provide a 2-way sync between Outlook and Google.
I hate that it's only a oe way snap shot! Thanks for calling this out. Very good video though.

But now it says "You cannot make changes to contents of this read-only folder". Any ideas on how to fix this please?
Same. It's not allowed to make changes to subscribed internet calendars in Outlook.

Superb. Thanks
It does not work in Outlook. You can not edit appointments with this method. Useless!
This is not sync, it is just "view the calendar in outlook". please correct the description.
Thanks a ton I was almost going to give up seeing my google calendar it went on giving me message unable to show it try it after some time
This was so helpful! Thank you so much!
Thank you that worked perfectly. I have been trying to get this to work for a while and gave up, glad I found your video.
A very slick and to-the-point guide. Keep up the good work.

I do not have a
link labeld secret address in ical format? would this be known as another title?
This did not work for my Outlook desktop version. In addition I did not find that "Secret" iCal link in google calendar settings
Thank you. This should be automatic, but thank you so very much. I wouldn't have gotten this without you!!
Thank you thank you! I have been trying to figure this out forever!
BE CAREFUL!!! - NOT A FULL SYNC. its a read-only copy of google. You cannot edit from Outlook.

How do you add the google calendar without google's email to the desktop version of Outlook Mac's calendar version 16.63?
I don't have the 'secret address in iCal format' field. How's that possible?!
In case anyone wonders, how to do this on a Mac / MacOS: open the webversion of Outlook and proceed as shown in this video :)
Excellent and well designed tutorial. Well done!
OMG! This has been driving me nuts in Outlook. Expected it to be automatic when setting up the email account. So simple to fix.
It's Google's fault. They purposely limit your syncing ability with Outlook so that they can force you to use their online platform.
its a read-only copy in outlook unfortunately
Short quick and to the point. Thank you.
What the way around? Need outlook cal in Google.
Saved tonnes of hour mine, thank you very much!
the sender will not be notified when an invite is updated
Thanks it helped a lot.
Thanks!
Thank you very much :)

Can't find out secret address
Any idea on how to get this to work within the Outlook phone app and desktop app?
This is the same problem I have

this is not sync, this is just view google calender on outlook. please correct on the description
Your outlook looks nothing like mine.
