Agreed. I loved her as Moze but she doesn't just repeat the character. I think she's dealt with the character changes from season to season in a very believable way.
You know how you know Lindsey Shaw is freakishly talented? The only time I have ever seen even a slight hint of Kat Stratfford in her was when she did the sort of rock on the ball of her foot thing in the forest. Otherwise, it is like a completely different actor. Also, her entire body language screamed shame, disgust, and anguish but also a hint of longing not just her face.
I know! She's so amazing! Completely underrated. Emisons saying 'where's Sasha's acting award' must not have caught any Paily scenes. The way Lindsey knocks it out of the park? Just, wow. As much as it guts me to watch Paige suffer like that I can't look away because of how amazing the acting is and how beautiful and vulnerable this character is. And I know they do it for suspense but Emily's aloofness though is sometimes infuriating.
Omg, I know! So true! Naomily + Paily are these two amazing pairs of star-crossed lovers/soulmates and they all deserved better than what they got, unless you choose to ignore their 'canon endings'. Which, considering the show encourages you to take everything about it with a grain of salt, is not a hard thing to do.
my problem with this scene is shay's acting reaction at the end of the scene, her body language when Lindsey reaches for her is a bit melodrama & sometimes it seems like Lindsey is carrying this scene on her back up hill & dale. Shay is great, but sometimes I'd like to see her emote more instead of pantomine
I know they have to leave it ambiguous so we have that 'will they? wont they?' until the end of the episode where we find out they do get back together, but you're absolutely right. I've always been put off by Shay's reaction there. Not wanting to be touched and going completely unresponsive and stuff. Just to keep the suspense going. I felt like that scene should have been a little longer to be honest. Also Paige clearly tried to address that night at least once that we've seen (you put two and two together if you re-watch season 3) and Emily dismissed her and Paige's self loathing and guilt prevented her from bringing that up. Though it's good that she doesn't try to make excuses. She just comes clean about everything and shows another glimpse at her insightfulness
cara que quimica tem emily e paige, e é de verdadeiro o amor que a paige sente pela emily e sempre digo sempre sentil ne ta na cara kk fofas.. torço por elas sempre ...
Maya freakin' asked Emily to just up and ditch her whole life; family, friends, future, and run away with her and do pot and shit all the time. The nerve! Paige asked Emily to go study in a distant college where they'd be safe from A and begin their Olympic dreams or whatever. There's no comparison.
hi! can someone explain to me what em and paige are talking about? I missed the episode they refer to (the night emily doesn't remember about): what happened between'em?
Okay, in the first episode of season 3 Emily and the girls are drinking and partying. Fast forward a couple of hours and Emily's covered in dirt and appears to have dug up Alison's corpse. The girls cover the incident up and run off to Spencer's cabin and stuff and lay low. Emily spends the rest of the season trying to figure out what she did and what happened to her during those gaps in her memory. At school her relationship with Paige (who has come out!!!!!) is a bit strained and she seems to be avoiding her and while we get no flashbacks to that night and what happened between them, Paige's story lays it out for us. At around 11pm, Emily showed up outside Paige's house, soused. Paige helped her up and tried to lead her through her house, only Emily wasn't being supported by her all of a sudden, she was kissing her. Paige got carried away in the moment and allowed the kiss to happen. She knows it wrong and that she should've stopped it but she got 'greedy', being faced with the thing she wanted and an opportunity to enjoy that 'dream' for a few moments. She beats herself up over it, especially when she figured out that Emily wasn't drunk, she was drugged, and that's why she'd been acting like she couldn't remember; because she really couldn't remember. She wasn't just playing hot and cold with her.
Thanks. Now I've got 'backdoor lover' by DuJour stuck in my head XD Though Emily probably didn't know Paige's parents were out and could have been a bit more subtle. I really want to watch that scene. Drunk Emily is the funniest Emily and besides it would shut up those people that misread the 'greedy' bit into meaning that Paige date raped her when she didn't.
If you're talking about how the drugs wound up in Emily's flask, they were there because Alison put them in to drug her and the other girls on the night she disappeared, so she could rule them out as being 'A'~
No. When she says she got 'greedy' she's talking about how even though they agreed to just be friends at the end of last season, when Emily kissed her, she 'got greedy' and kissed her back. She didn't rape her, she just kissed her. Then when the kiss was over she went to get her a glass of water, only by the time she got back, Emily had disappeared.
If you're talking about that head dunking bit in the pool, she was just trying to intimidate her, not hurt or kill her. And besides, Emily was a swimmer, having her head held underwater for a couple of seconds wasn't exactly putting her in any danger. Water is her element. And just consider the logistics of what you're insinuating. It'd be pretty dumb of her to try and kill her in a public place in the middle of the day in front of a bunch of witnesses, don't you think?
.....it was just a kiss dude.... when she said she got 'greedy' she was talking about how she was supposed to just be friends with Emily but she wanted to be more so when the opportunity arose, she 'got greedy' and kissed her back. Only Emily was drunk(drugged really) at the time so she feels awful about it. She doesn't mean she groped/raped her. God no!
Agreed. I loved her as Moze but she doesn't just repeat the character. I think she's dealt with the character changes from season to season in a very believable way.
Yeah he was in Ned's Declassified too
The way she says "Em" at the very end always breaks my heart

mooglemania she is a good actor..i mean way too good from Shay..sorry..i really love her acting in howling reborn and 10 things
The way Paige's voice breaks when she says 'Em' just reminds me of when Naomi says it in Skins to Emily at the BBQ episode :( Gutting everytime :(

Check out the way Emily checks out Paige as she's walking away from her in season 5, episode 11 in the scene when she asks her to talk
paige is the better girl for emily she was willing to die for her.. maya would never do anything like that for emily...
