    Such a nice house in an amazing part of Japan, ski/snowboarding at the throw of a stone, a quick train ride to Tokyo and a bunch of hotsprings and even hotspring towns to visit. Perfect place to live in

      The location is right in the middle of Karuizawa, Manza, and Kusatsu, so you are 100% correct.

    I am looking to move to Japan at some point and would love to have a home there for cheaper. Looking for something with good neighbors, faming potential, close to a body of water like a lake or ocean if possible...

      Considering that you couldn't build anything nearly as quality for the price, the house is turnkey and solid as a rock, and it's in a great location, it is a fair deal. We are pretty strict with sellers about property pricing. Assessing Japanese real estate in general is a whole 'nother ball of wax, but we are constantly watching the market at large.
