We have those flake chocolates on icecream. But it's a Mr Whippy icecream in a cone (the ones you get from vans) and with lots of strawberry sauce and nuts. The chocolate tastes soooooooo good with that icecream because it sort of balances eachother out.
I've watched many American people eating British snacks. Don't ask me why lol it seems I'm entertained by it. A friend likes watching youtubers unboxing things which I thought was weird lol. Now having watched this I found it hilarious as well as entertaining. Elise your brilliant and thank you for giving me my fix Ha!!! 😂😂🤣🙌

Totally agree. People are getting fat because they barely leave the house now. We never had the entertainment to stay in so chasing each other as part of some type of game was a 7 day a week activity for me.
I love a Terry's chocolate orange, I love skips, custard creams and bourbons. I love any British biscuit. But you NEED to try irn bru and Tablet from Scotland!
I have just discovered your channel, Elise. Thanks for your enthusiastic pallet! Last time I spent more than 48 hours in Britain was 20 years ago. However, I attended junior prep in London for six years, up to age 13, so I recognised a few of your selections. Rice pud was a Sunday staple pudding at school, so my memories of it are mixed. Cook used to add raisins and a touch of nutmeg to it, though, which made it better. Hopefully I'll get to the UK again soon, as three of my sons are currently either working or studying in London, Edinburgh, and Somerset respectively. BTW, from which part of the US do you hail?
Terrys chocolate orange is traditionally given to kids in the stockings at Christmas because there’s so much of them one ball will last for at least 10 minutes. Enjoy
You need to dip the custard creams in tea… that’s when the flavour comes alive. Skips are great but you missed out on the rice pudding! That is just heavenly, you can have it cold or hot.
There is a website called British Corner Shop that i use to send snacks to my Texan girlfriend. Lol i'm 42 i still can't eat a flake without making a mess. Other snacks i recommend are a bar of Galaxy, Cadburys Wispa, Cadburys caramel, Roast beef Monster Munch, and both Mr Kipling Almond slices and lemon slices.
You need to try Walkers crisps too. I understand from my gf they are similar to a brand you have called Lay's, but our flavours are very different. We have have cheese and onion, salt and vinegar, prawn cocktail, roast beef, Worcestershire sauce, roast chicken, smoky bacon, according to my girlfriend she had never come across those crisp flavours before and loved all, she loved the Worcestershire sauce and prawn cocktail the most, but i hope you get to try them all.
Practically all sweet biscuits are designed to dunk in tea trust me on this as a Brit, they turn even the most humble of biscuits into a taste sensation. Tea prep if you don't have a pot. Get the best loose leaf or a strong British blend Tea in a bag, use two for extra strength brew. Refer to the instructions on loose leaf as they vary and blend depending as in using boiling water or 90°c. For bag's. Boil water in a kettle or saucepan. Use around two and a third the volume of the Mug / Cup make sure it's a big cup / mug. Once boiling fill the mug with water, leave ten to fifteen seconds so the cup / mug is hot. Tip out Place Tea bag / bags in the mug and fill with boiling water slowly untill 80% full. Stir and leave for 3 minutes. Remove bags squeezing them a little or lot strength of desired Tea. Add a splash or 1% or 2% Dairy Milk not 3% At this point you can add sugar if you want but you're eating biscuits so no need in my book. The remaining water discard or use to top the Cup up if you made the tea a little too strong, Miners teas like Welsh or Yorkshire are best for dunking biscuits. Enjoy x
a lot of sweet treats I enjoyed in my youth are no longer mainstream but you can get from speciality sites ==== sarsparilla sweets, pear drops, flying saucers, liquorice sticks (the proper wooden ones), metropolitan chews, gobstoppers, lemon sherbots, aniseed balls etc
Recently I tried some roast pork and apple flavour sensations crisps and baked cheese and honey sensations crisps they're limited edition and won't be around for long term
you will have to come to the UK and eat all the foods.. (i love these videos as a lot of the foods here we are so used to that we dont feel it, but seeing a video of someone trying it and the delight reminds me of my first time)
@Elise Brulotte it's called a 'brew' not a 'cuppa' and cuppa-brew is to imply a cup of tea perfectly 'brewed hence "I've just got in from work and need a bloody 'BREW' :)
Try the jam and cream Viennese fingers much nicer. I like to put skips on my tongue and let them melt. Chocolate orange is the only chocolate my son will eat. He would rather have a piece of fruit.
Just found out there's a Gobstopper candy store in the UK that stocks all American foods 😋. Yeah until you get to the till and find out its £16 for a pack of Fruit Loops.. no thanks
Welcome to the chunky side of English grub 😂. Try a Cadbury delight bar.a double decker and a ripple. Crisps go for flaming hot monster munch or beef hula hoops.. And it's pronounced CADBRY.. even though it's spelt Cadburys.. Much love from across the pond
Would recommend the jam wagon wheels worst British drink ovatine in my opinion not sure if available in USA best biscuits worth a try is viscount or after eight mints chocolate
Myself and Elaine enjoyed your British Snack channel, but snacks aside we both thought you sound like and have the mannerism of Taylor Shift the music star, do you sing at all, have you tried singing Taylors songs as you could possibly sound like her, seriously I'm a musician & if you talk sound like someone then maybe. Best wishes with the show from John & Elaine.

you need to cleanse your pallet in-between jumping from one taste straight to another...especially savoury straight after sweet... drink some water in-between at least
I find it really funny that Americans think that chocolate like cadburys is really good quality. I mean compared to American chocolate, yes! But compared to actual real good chocolate then no. Cadburys etc is predominantly sugar and milk , hardly any cocoa
There's nothing more satisfying than watching an American enjoy British snacks. Makes me proud to be British 😁
We have those flake chocolates on icecream. But it's a Mr Whippy icecream in a cone (the ones you get from vans) and with lots of strawberry sauce and nuts. The chocolate tastes soooooooo good with that icecream because it sort of balances eachother out.
Love seeing the reactions of you American people eating English Snacks, etc :) i Love Skips Lol they are so light and tasty
Right? I'm binge watching Americans trying British foods/snacks, their reactions are so wholesome and it makes me grateful to be British 😊
My dogs loves them LOL can't eat a pack without her crying for some hahaha!
You should try galaxy chocolate, the cookies one! Also galaxy minstrels are amazing 😊
Personally i prefer just the regular bar of Galaxy, but i'm not denying the biscuit or Minstrels are good too. 😋
My favourite
Or Tunnock's caramel wafer bars 😇
So true
Omg galaxy cookie crumble is my fave
I think you should try all the biscuits with tea, it’s amazing!
When I say tea it’s better with milk in the tea because I know most Americans drink tea without milk
Legit, the caramel inside the hobnob melts a little and gets warm, and it's insane
@@danmurawski5790 bro you get caramel in ur hobnobs, how rich are you tf
@@coachtpm5478 I’m poor as shit lol, they’re like 30p more and a rare treat
i think she has to learn the difference between a cookie an a biscuit before trying anything

Wine gums Used to be made from fermented wine back in the day, not now tho. I'm surprised not many Americans havent tried Skips, there amazing!
Mainly the prawn cocktail, they expecting a fishy taste rather than the Marie rose sauce

It would be crisps, a chocolate biscuit and 2 Tunnocks Tea Cakes and pop
I explain
So 1 packet of Walkers Ready Salted crisps
1 Chocolate biscuit either a Breakaway or Penguin or Kit-Kat or similar
I really recommend you get hold of Tunnocks Tea Cakes👍
Tunnocks Caramel Wafer👍
Tunnocks Snowballs👍
I used to regularly buy Skips👍
I used to regularly buy Custard 👍 Creams and once you opened the packet they were GONE
And same with Cadbury Flakes👍
Also wine gums but I was never a fan - taste👎 and they were too chewy
The issues of Obesity
As a kid I would eat lots of crisps, sweets, chocolate and dinner cooked in fat BUT every kid walked to school at least twice a day (very few people had cars) I lived near school so I would come home for lunch so it would be 4 times a day

The best, was grey Dunn caramel wafers, alas no longer made..
The original Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles were amazing. Made to make your mouth water.
and Fruit Gums.
That was opel fruits
@@neilconnolly485 Opal Fruits are the original Starbursts

Now they are too sweet with sugar on them. Disgusting. Preferred them when they were plain and citrusy.
Thai Sweet Chili Sensations are SO GOOD!
You had 2 of my partner's all time faves together there! Custard Creams and Chicken & Thyme Sensations! 🥰
I love Ambrosia rice pudding. I eat it cold
I love a Terry's chocolate orange, I love skips, custard creams and bourbons. I love any British biscuit. But you NEED to try irn bru and Tablet from Scotland!
Hob knobs are meant to go with coffee or tea. It's amazing how much Americans love the Terry's chocolate orange.
The purple wine gum (they all have a corresponding wine name and colour)……Chardonnay……..elite. 🤤
wine gums are the best once the packet has spent a little time in the sun. when they warm up a little, they are nice and juicy

Roast chicken sensations are incredible,my favorite lazy hangover Sunday treat washed down with a litre bottle of irn bru,yum yum

Already a great video you’ve put effort in and did your research nice one
Orange and chocolate in the US is like marmite over here, I'm glad to see an American enjoy Terry's, it's amazing chocolate
Custard creams dipped in hot tea are awesome. Or if you don’t like tea, cold milk is fine.

Honestly great selection, all hits no misses. You've gotta try monster munch and dairy milk Daim bars
Glad you enjoyed them!
Prawn Cocktail crisps are supposed to taste like the sauce served with Prawns a lot of people are surprised they don't actually tasteof Prawns
I love watching Americans try British food, the way she called Maltesers 'wafers' is so funny
Elise, have you tried the Terry's Chocolate Orange
Ambrosia rice pudding from the tin that you have there is so nice I can't even begin to explain it
take the custard creams and mash them up, then use it as the base of a vanilla cheese cake, you wont be disappointed
She gets very excited
It’s the sugar
Vienese milk chocolates are the best with tea.
Great vid, with skips the test is to let to let it dissolve on your tongue for as long as you can and resist crunching it.
Put crumbled Flake over the top of ice cream.

any biscuits you get..dip them in hot sweet tea
I make the fox's biscuits
The centre of Malteesers is Honeycomb
Home made rice pudding, the best.
Rice pudding and a big spoon of jam or cimminon
Cadbury Flakes are proudly Australian
What I got out of this was that….
YOU DON’T HAVE A CAN OPENER,!!!
Whaaaat theeeeee Helllllllll!!!
I like how she says cuppa, proper English
Tunnocks tea cakes or snowballs
Cookies bend. Biscuits snap.
I have the same problem with custard creams, once you eat one you can't stop.theyre moorish
And cheap. Which makes them dangerous...
Try the jam and cream Viennese fingers much nicer. I like to put skips on my tongue and let them melt. Chocolate orange is the only chocolate my son will eat. He would rather have a piece of fruit.
Elise, you are gorgeous - UK fan ❤
Try the chicken sensations with a sour cream and chive dip
What kind of barbarism is it to put a half eaten biscuit back in the packet. This is madness!
Just found out there's a Gobstopper candy store in the UK that stocks all American foods 😋.
Yeah until you get to the till and find out its £16 for a pack of Fruit Loops.. no thanks
Lucky charms are crazy priced too
You should eat chocolate and crisps together ❤️🇬🇧
Cheese and onion crisps and chocolate, just the best😋
Look around for strawberry creams over custard and bourbons
Thank god you didn’t have a can opener
You have to eat round the diamond on a custard cream 😊
I had that American equivalent of Maltesers and felt queasy for hours

Try pot noodles. Bombay badboy is my favourite.
Maltesers are just better tasting Whoppers lol. Terry's oranges are wonderful, you can get them on Amazon.
The Fox biscuits wouldn’t be popular, the custard creams are a go to!
Just found your channel while high I’m from the uk man ima subscribe your pretty to 🔥
If you haven't tried the rice pudding yet you need to try it both cold and hot. And with a dollop of jam (but not stirred in!!)
custard creams dipped in coffee.......omnom
Viennese biscuits are insane but unfortunately the brand you got is meh

What happened to the rice pudding...

Why don't people sip water in-between?
you need to cleanse your pallet in-between jumping from one taste straight to another...especially savoury straight after sweet...
drink some water in-between at least

Yes, British chocolate sucks.
It's biscuits
