@@boost_too i see someone drive by my work every day with the same truck as me and this exhaust, after 3 yrs you can tell his trucks holding on for dear life but its probably not the turbos that are the problem. If it is the turbos then hes probably just around 200k, im at 120k and turbos work great but i have stock exhaust. Im not sure why those friends say that, maybe when these sorts of exhausts were 1st popularised in the 2010s they blew turbos but doubt thats the case now.
Who’s your tuner from? MPT won’t allow me to tune it again based on catless downpipe, would they do it if i said “off road use only” or would i need to get a different brand that would help me ?
@@goatedvault1070 thats true. I have an AFE cold air intake and that definitely made a huge difference in the spooling noise as well as taking the plastic restriction piece thats inside the intake tubing
Make sure you go to a shop and get a tune if you put a cold air intake on. Get the most out of your truck and save the life of your high pressure fuel pump, injectors, spark plugs etc. i went like 60-80k miles before i got my tune and what a night and day difference in performance and mpgs. Also had a premature failure of my high pressfuel pump because the cpu thinks its stock and so with all that extra air it overcompensates with too much fuel and its no bueno
I have the same on my 2018 2.7. The mbrp 4 inch cost $400 and I have stainless works sport catted downpipes and they costed $980. My truck still has a semi raspy sound with about the same amount of turbo whistle as this one. I got all my stuff on American Trucks.
Do you have the turbo adapters? And do you know if it has the same wastegate set up as the 3.5. I have a 17 3.5 with cat delete and 3 inch res, and can’t hear any turbo spool. Does the 4 inch exhaust make it that much better?
Stanley Proctor no turbo adapters on the 2.7, 3.5 is different engine.. if you don’t have the Spd adapter I’d highly recommend it. You’ll notice more turbo spool from what I’ve heard, maybe delete the res if you want more noise as well
Boost Too I plan on doing the adapters, but I heard that it has electronic wastegates, not sure if that is the cause to no turbo spool, I ran it with no exhaust to see if I could hear it and it still had none,

alright. best sounding v6 to date, imma buy this and hope my 3.5 eb sounds just as good.
Aye I gotchu with a video

Nice video straight to the point. No talk I love it. Oh and awesome truck man👊🏻
Do you mind if I use this sound for a "what we hope the new bronco" video sounds like?

LMAOOO that so insanely good.
Is that a 6ft bed?
Best sounding v6 in my opinion
Sound fucking legit! I'm saving up to buy a lift kit wheels and tune and bunch of other shit I cant wait to install them
Does it get drone inside the cabin on the highway ? Or how would you rate it overall, soundwise inside the cabin
Really wanted to put one of these on my 3.5l but i got told by all of my friends who work on cars that these things blow turbos.
170,000km on the 2.7 and no issues
100,000 on my ranger and no issues
42,000 on my tremor and no issues

Been looking for the catless downpipes but all I can find is catted... help find it?
Treven Linger SPD has stopped production on Catless Downpipes.
I think there are some other companies still making them. . .
Boost Too do you know of any?
@@trevenlinger8593 Stainless Works makes some catless downpipes.

Possum Mcdonald does the cats make that big of a difference in the whistle? I ordered SPD Catted pipes. I’d like to hear yours with the cats
How do I do that on my 2.7
you got hacked MADAFAKA! You didn’t read the title?
Im trying to do this, whats the exact setup and stuff you deleted?
Trevor Louque Spd Catless Downpipes
MBRP 4” exhaust
Deleted the muffler and resonator

4 inch? i can't seem to find a 4 inch Y pipe for the 2.7 on SPD's website.. you're sure they are 4 inch?

SPD Catless Downpipes were 3” I believe
