So he basically kills everything in his sight with the armor . It kinda makes him stronger and faster . And when he for an example breaks a bone in the armor . The armor basically keeps the bones together with metal spikes. But when he gets out of the armor all the damage caused he feels . Like the all the bones he broke are still broken they were just held in place . And also he ages drastically in the armor

I enjoyed the video very good. Now just last year of gentlemen did create a replicate of the dragon slayer. At the end of it when he completed making and forging the sword for his client. Ib 317.5 will total of 144.02 kils. The blacksmith is very proud of his work and he did a whole video.
I'd like to think the reason why he is capable of using his sword is a mix of the rules of the Berserk world. For one, Guts might simply not be destined to die yet, therefore if he could not swing it, he'd not be able to survive and he would die, think of how the red Beherit was always destined to go back to Griffith so nothing of what happened is a coincidence but literally the "hand of God" pushing the narrative, likewise something similar could be at play for Guts. I also think the sheer willpower and determination Guts displays might likely dip into the astral world the same way he manifests his own beast of darkness (which is an actual real astral entity Shirieke is able to see), and somehow through the astral world he obtains the strength to do it, as if he is performing magic without even knowing it.

The sword stands a bit taller than him I'd guess around 6'8" but that's a rough guess. I also don't know Guts true height because to be fair the Berserk guidebook isn't fully accurate according to fans and subreddits. As for the weight when the sword is completed on the 10th video, he weighs it and the sword comes out to being 147kg or 324 pounds. Anyone who's a Berserk fan should go check out his videos because over all they are cool and he does an amazing job creating a one of a kind replica of such a massive iconic sword. Edit: I'm not physics expert but I would also say that due to the shape of dragon slayer, it being a slab of steel that's as long and as wide as it is. It would probably make the weight feel as if it was double it's normal weight. Strongmen such as Thor, and Brian Shaw could lift it but they wouldn't be able to swing it normal. Even if someone as strong as them trained the way Guts did I still wouldn't think they could swing it as effortlessly as Guts does. Again Berserk is fiction but still a fun topic.

Most people could barely lift a 45 pound bar by the end of the bar.
From what I can gather, a simple google search claim Miura himself stated the Dragon Slayer to be 440 pounds, or 199.5 kilos. And Guts' height is less "well over six feet" and more near seven feet, estimated at 6'8-10 by most people who have done the estimations. Although officially, Guts is 7'7, which puts him at a taller height than Pippin, which is more than a little ridiculous. But yeah, the Dragon Slayer is more like 200 kilos, realistically. Can any human wield it? No. Not a chance.

A theory is an explanation of some aspect that's based on a body of evidence. Absolutely no evidence of that exists, not even the faintest suggestion. Within the story, we witness Guts grappling with wielding the Dragonslayer. Guts has wielded massive swords quite literally since he was a toddler and has been seen training with weights on his sword in the past. This all suggests that guts is simply strong enough to wield the Dragonslayer. The story is constantly commenting on how incredibly strong guts is. Even if guts wielding the dragon slayer is too unrealistic for real life, it's a fantasy story, it doesn't need come convoluted explanation. Guts exists in a world where gods and demons exist, and yet you're stuck on how he can lift a large chunk of iron. The suspension of disbelief needed there is minuscule when there are inter-dimensional beings toying with causality. Abyssal weight shifting magic is honestly absurd, it's a completely made-up idea without any validity.

I don’t think “The Mountain” could even handle it. The guy that has been the worlds strongest man over and over couldn’t even handle the Buster Sword. It took way to much for him to get it to his shoulder (where he rested it) and then he would heave it up to swing it down. Just that simple action alone wore him out. Dragon Slayer is much bigger than the Buster Sword.

The strongest men can actually swing a sword like that Guts wouldn't have to be that far above the world's strongest mento weild that thing. Its actually probably possible to do it well in real life
If the dragon slayer was 4ft long and about 3 to 4 inches thick it would only weigh about 76lbs if it was made of steel. This is the conclusion Mr. James (a master blacksmith with 30+ years under his belt) and myself came about. We used a machinist handbook to calculate all the measurements and weight per square inch of steel. Also I don't believe Guts is over 6ft tall if he is a European man, based on historical statistics the average height for a European medieval man was around 5ft 6in so given that information Guts is probably 5ft 10in. I would like to mention that the manga is very inconsistent with the depictions of Guts and the dragonslayer but we tried to base all our numbers on a real world historical basis.
Guts has been confirmed to be over 6 ft tall, by how much is entirely unknown since some sources say he's over 7 ft tall but people have come to the conclusion that he should be around 6,8
Hafthor doesn't hold the record. He was butthurt and tried to beat Eddie Hall by 1 kg but didn't do it in competition or with officials present so didn't count. Brian shaw is a much better example.

The real dragonslayer weighs 147kg/324lb and the "raider" sword (the one he used most of the time with the band of the hawk) weighed 18kg/40lb. As far as the discussion around whether Guts could have naturally gotten strong enough to wield the Dragonslayer - unfortunately it's impossible. We got #9 ranked World's Strongest Man Robert Oberst and he could not even lift a 124lb Buster Sword, much less swing it. That's barely 1/3 the weight of the DS - no one could ever ever pick it up, much less swing it unfortunately. Even the raider sword is very very difficult to swing at just 1/8 the weight of the DS - plus it is incredibly punishing on the wrists. The unbalanced leverage makes it dramatically more difficult than any deadlift or stone. In testing with a sword-swinging contraption, we found that your point about the DS being a maul of sorts - dead on. Basically a sword-shaped axe. Crushes and smooshes and destroys.
