I can't help but recall the movie The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind, based off a true story where a boy in Africa saved his village by creating a wind-powered water pump from junk. He saw how his teacher's bike powered the light on the front, and when asked how it worked, the teacher replied "Magnets!" -- and so he read up on them, and how they're used to turn motion into power. Idk, just a cool story.
Tbh , after his unwillingness to try any of the foods I have wondered why they keep him on the channel. 🤷 But it was nice to see him actually interact once 👍

Besides, his age (and the perspective that comes with it) helps to balance out the others' general disposition. He is honestly my favorite of the whole crew.

For someone who claims no formal education, Mama is extremely wise and very, very intelligent. All the participants are very clever and really make some fabulous observations. ♥️ I loved this video. Great fun! They have a Nickel Carnival in my town each summer for kids and one of the most popular games is to run across a two metre long vat filled with cornstarch mixed with water. The kids giggle like mad because it feels cold and odd but also because they don't sink into it. 😄
My favorite is when you provide them experiences rather than snacks. I mean, trying yummy food and snacks is a wonderful experience on itself, but something about them doing stuff they would NEVER do otherwise is just next level awesome. And I really appreciate how you guys often include women in these videos, god knows how restricted their day to day lives must be, and I've seen other channels that strictly features male guests and it's just so unfair. Why would their day to day lives be restricted please?! Do you know that in rural Pakistan, most outdoor work in fields is done by women? They leave their homes after a heavy breakfast (and sending off their kids to school) along with their husbands at the crack of dawn and work their sweat off in the fields and in farms till late afternoon. If men drive tractors or bull carts then women pick cotton, tea leaves, fruits, corn, wheat etc. If men clean barns and are shepherds then women milk the animals, make butter, cheese, curd. Yes they're extremely busy in their villages, but not "restricted" in any way. Women have a highly active role in Pakistani society both in cities and villages.

This was such a great video! I think it gives them a nice break from food. I loved seeing Mufasa genuinely like something and smile throughout the whole thing. Also, mirroring a lot of other people, Mehboob's English was absolutely wonderful! It's getting better and better! I love seeing his confidence in learning new things!

This experience makes sense to Mustafa not all of that food tasting. Invite him to the ones that lean more towards physical or intellectual experiences. And maybe start making him miniature plates of food if he continues the tasting.

All they need to do is get a microscope and a variety of slides from any college or school lab in the city (if the authorities of the place are willing too, that is) and they can do it :) nothing expensive about it as such.

Wonderful. A good trick with the vinegar+baking soda is to pour the gas into a can. It is heavier than air, so you can just pour it if you first strap it to the first container with a hand over the top. Then try putting a candle in the second container. The candle goes out as the gas is CO2. Then try to light the candle without taking it out. It is impossible as there’s no oxygen! Then pour out the gas. This looks weird as the gas is invisible! However, after poiring out the CO2 you can light thw candle!
I was just about to sugest that as well. I did that one for a couple of my colleagues. You'd be surprised how many people, even here in the west, get a kick out of that little experiment.

I like seeing them all so happy and enjoying themselves. I made a substance to play with that was cornstarch and water when I was a child. It was solid/liquid and I cannot remember for the life of me what it was called. I enjoyed that you added color to it. Mine was just plain.
I love Mehboob's devotion to learning English on behalf of his English audience. I hope that other villagers can one day enjoy these type of fun activities and learn new information, I would love that.

I like seeing them all so happy and enjoying themselves. I made a substance to play with that was cornstarch and water when I was a child. It was solid/liquid and I cannot remember for the life of me what it was called. I enjoyed that you added color to it. Mine was just plain.
