[Serious] Redditors who have lawfully killed someone, what's your story?
#Reddit #AskReddit
that first one, honestly they never should've told him that the kid died. imagine having to go through the rest of your life from 16 on, knowing that you accidentally killed a 6 y.o.
Yeah I might sound horrible. I'm guessing the family have already accepted the kid could have died on any certain time. Or there is a foul play a kid like that isn't to be left unsupervised, likely he wasn't blamed but became the scapegoat.
I wouldn’t care it isn’t my fault
@@gods-_-ko8454 r/iamverybadass
gods-_-ko, as in, you wouldn’t care that you killed a Six-Year old child.
bro wants attention 💀@@gods-_-ko8454
My dad once told me if someone is purposely trying to harm me I have the right to defend myself even if I have to escalate to killing the person if he knew I was defending myself from harm he would support me in court.
So two lessons I learned from the majority of these: 1) always carry a weapon 2) do not take shortcuts down alleys.
CCW its there for a reason. There are crazy people out there so please be safe.
You are absolutely correct
Yeah, you only cut down an alley if it's the middle of the night, you're incredibly wealthy, you're accompanied by your spouse and son, and you want your son to come down with a pretty serious flying rodent obsession.
@@ccggenius 😂
@@ccggenius Oh, too funny lol
Around 2am on July 3, 2002, I watched my grandfather shoot a man in the chest.
There was a drunk in our **fenced-in** backyard, screaming about "goddamn bitches" and he got a little too close to the back door for my grandpa's liking.
He had a can of beer in one hand and kept pounding on the window until the Plexiglass started to bow out, so Grandpa got the revolver and loaded two shots.
He pointed the gun at the drunk, and asked him politely to leave.
He refused, so Grandpa *told* him to leave. He refused again and kept pounding on the window.
Grandpa opened the door and fired his two shots towards center mass.
The guy hit the ground like a ton of bricks and we waited an additional *45 MINUTES* for ONE cop car with ONE guy in it to take the report and another 30 for an ambulance to cart off the body.
We started out scared and ended up just mad at the piss-poor way the police handled it.
Oh, and then everyone clapped.
Burglar: aren't you gonna call the cops?!?!?!?!
Homeowner: why would I do that, no one else knows your here ☺️
the Q-MAN you're*
Fuck I didn't realize I miss grammered it I was smoking weed when I typed that out😆

As a mother, I wouldn’t be able to cope with living if my daughter had died in an accident with me. Maybe the universe prevented the intubation.
That’s what I was thinking
About 28 years ago I had to order taking my 8 day old daughter off life support. As I held her and told her that we couldn’t help her therefore if she lived or died it was between her and God, I was given a glimpse of Calvary and the understanding that as hard as it was for me, how much harder if I had had to choose between my children and that choice was made for us at Calvary.
With that we begin to understand the Father’s love for us.
To add to my story about my daughter and facing death, when she was born I had been in the military 20 years when she was born. Various things I did in the service required me to be ready to shoot friends. Different jobs had the following standing orders: “There is no such thing as a hostage. There is a shield you will shoot through. If you are taken captive you will notify the guard before you pass him.” Twice under those orders I have had to make kill/don’t kill decisions on my friends.
Another set of orders for searching suspected drug boats was, “If after the Coast Guard get aboard there is a shot fired, sink the boat.” I was given that job because my superiors believed that I would have shot.
An understanding of the Atonement is that Jesus suffered in the Garden and on the Cross so He could succor us for the things done to us as well as those things we have done. In the book “Currahee”,
about the airborne in Normandy, the author wrote how he and his partner gave coup de grace to two German soldiers and when they told their platoon there was a moment of silence during which he believed all the men were thinking, “Will someone be that kind to me?”
I knew a man that received coup de grace and lived and had a productive life for 40+ years after.
For the medic I have pity for him and hope my understanding of the Atonement is correct that he will have mercy there.
Martin Walker damn that's really rough. Just pull through dude, it will get better
Hamsterghini it is still painful at times that I couldn’t help her. That said, we see God’s design and know it was part of His plan as there were 10-15 events that helped us deal with her death such as:
I was stateside rather than being in the Persian Gulf because of medical issues.
I helped proofread a chapter in a book and that chapter dealt with the disorder that killed her.
The military misplaced my medical records long enough that I was able to retire.
My father took himself off life support.
Finally, in 2011 I was working in Tennessee and had been called as a Temple Worker in the Columbia South Carolina Temple. This one day I was on shift 6 AM-5 PM and got sick and was sent home by 10 AM. We stopped at a rest area to eat lunch and before we got out of the car a family pulled in beside us. The family included 4 girls, 6 down to toddler.
I was watching the girls as I was eating and struck up a conversation with the father. I explained a little about our daughter as an explanation of why I was watching his girls. He said something to the effect of, “That was tough.” Instead of the statement I gave above, I for the first time said, “Without death we cannot enjoy eternal life.”
The father’s response was, “I have never heard such doctrine. What church do you go to? I am on the way to my aunt’s funeral.”
I, according to earthly standards was not supposed to be there, however God wanted me to give that family comfort that I could only give because of my experience.
Martin Walker damn right. You're awesome. Keep pulling through dude. You got this. May your wounds heal sufficiently :)
If someone is trying kill you or puts your life in danger, you are perfectly justified saving yourself. They wouldn't do the same for you and the consequence of their actions is on them.
No because they didn't live to take responsibility in the eyes of the cops and DA. You need witnesses.😔
OP gets hit in the head with a rock
OP: So u have chosen death
dark as hell video, and then cheery music at the end credits . lol
This is a story from someone I used to know
He was in a bar playing pool, betting on it, and kicking everyone’s ass, you can probably see where this is going, a few hours and drinks later he starts walking home, he gets ambushed by some Mexican he recognized from the game, the Mexican had a knife and I can’t remember what they said, but basically the Mexican bet all his money on those games and was going to take the money back, the Mexican runs up to try and stab Keith (the guy who told me this), but Keith had some defensive training and managed to take the knife away, he then decided to (I honestly don’t know why) stab him in the taint (between the balls and ass)(this all happened in probably 10-20 seconds), He left him there on the ground and walked home
Later that week he saw the dude in the newspaper, turns out he had nicked the guy’s intestines or a main artery (can’t remember), and the guy died in the hospital
I don’t know if this would be considered a legal one, since Keith got out of that state quickly, obviously it was self defense but I don’t know if the law would see it that way
Had to stab someone at a party after I got jumped. He codes 3 separate times on the way to the hospital/in the hospital. Got charged and went through a year long court case, and then one of his best friends admitted they had started the fight. Got released and turned 18 the next day. Kid lived. Still run into some of those guys who jumped me. One works at an Ezell’s chicken in my town. Wish he would have bled out and I could have stabbed more those bastards.
Doesn't that just piss you off? Some people have no business living amongst us and deserve what they get in exchange for their selfish actions. Fuck the US legal system
11:58 that one is just..damn
If someone stabs another man and runs into someone’s house and they know what happened. But still let them in and hide them until police eventually find them. That would be association with attempted murder is that not?
As an RRT, I can understand how it feels to Pull the Plug 😢
Umm yes cancel all EMS units.
Weird how whenever someone uses the "it's not like the movies/games" it's either about how they don't die instantly or how they don't stick around long
I hope you never have to experience it for real , like some of us .
I'm proud of many of these people for taking r*pists and dangerous wastes, out of this world.
That last one: I feel bad that they feel bad. I don't think they could have done much more than they did.
Ah yes, the spooky Reddit theme music.
Here's what I learned
ALWAYS have a gun
oh gawd people i feel ur pain.
I just saw the Texas 7/11 story on the other video with the same title lel
None of these people should feel bad especially the ones who killed in self defense
People ignored the 'serious' tag
Ah yes imma famous killer ;)
are these somekind of a bot accounts?
Nah I completely disagree with tou on its all an accident on thw dodge all one it was 1000% dudes fault for throwing a hard ball at someones head

Most of These just read like your typical "and then everyone clapped" stories but instead of Tumblr it's 2a power fantasies.
Sounds kinda naive but ok
@@Dillpickle1997 Of course "snipe boy" with the punisher Profile pick would say exactly that. What a surprise.
If it was self defense I wouldn't feel bad it's your life or his and hes the 1 who made the mistake so u shouldn't have to pay for that
Ideal but not always practical.
@@Gumbier_Than Agreed. I would do the same in a heartbeat. However, I am a very compassionate guy and it would probably make me sick.
Unfortunately if there are no witnesses you might.😔
Man. Those people living through hell. :( Even though they killed rapists. Seriously, you did nothing wrong. Your life was being threatened. An animal, not a human, was attacking you, and you fought to live.
Please keep getting help, and try to forgive yourself, you did nothing wrong.
Humans are animals though
@@gods-_-ko8454 Eh, that's a matter of technical terms and illustrative.
14:36 always have a dashcam
I remember I was coming home late from Walmart one night and the car in front of me had a dishevelled looking gentleman try to run out in front of their car. After the car drove off angrily we locked eyes and I pointed right at my camera. He turned and walked in the opposite direction back to the sidewalk. Completely agree.
When you make videos like these, the ending music is really unfitting. Also, the ending loop has been broken for weeks.
This channel honestly doesn’t really care
My grandpa has been involved in two motorcycles vs car situations both times with his father-inlaw both times the motorcyclist died and was a fault
Some of the stories are why I carry a 45
Nobody:
The video location: *Reddit*
For the person who was 15 or 16 and was visiting their mom, it's not your fault. That person your age could of done who knows what to your sister, and you were doing it for a good reason. Plus, you had anger issues.
Anger issues hell. If someone was trying to rape a child in front of me they’ll be lucky if any part of their skull could be identified by the coroner.
Video: 21 mins of depression
Outro: Jus kidding, all goood
I'm over here worring that my dumb ass 5 year old ass might have put a rock up my nose, but I have no signs of a blocked nose thing😂 just something to worrie about ig
Not my story, but my friend’s Grandfather’s. He’s a WW2 veteran and, apparently, during the Battle of Iwo Jima, and he had been separated from his division. He was hiding in a crevice on a mountain, and one of the Japanese Soldiers was checking the Crevice for land mines or something, and found him. He pulled out his gun, but before the soldier could fire, he grabbed a large and threw it at him. It hit the soldier the face, and when he went to check for a pulse, There was none. He found his division about a day later.

14:13 - crap thing for the cop to say.
Risking your life for a fricking rental car and your luggage on the back seat?

The dude who shot the burglar is a straight badass he really said "one less scumbag" 😂
I saw this same video like 5 weeks ago I think this is just a re upload but from a different channel

I killed them then they were dead. I un-alived them. I used a people-opener. They no longer were alive. But it makes no difference because nobody knew they were alive to begin with. You don't miss what you never knew. This could be true or not true and it would make no difference to anyone reading this post. I think the people we miss most are from fictional stories anyway. Fictitious characters are known by a lot more people than real characters. I buried them under the house. There's a rising that the house sits on with a space underneath. The top layer of the ground was small rocks but it was dirt beneath that. The shovel had a hard time getting through random roots in the dirt so it wasn't easy. It's been three years now and I didn't bury him in any sort of casket so I'm sure there must be some sort of corpse smell coming up that I just can't smell.
Nobody misses the people that were never born. The magnitude of people that never existed in the first place. The chances to procreate that ever member of our species never took. The infinite amount of people we could've created by now. Why does it matter that someone lived? What difference does it make when they don't exist now? It's just another nothing in a universe filled with nothing. To live in the first place is something that none of us should take for granted. We'll all be nothing some day. We've been nothing for most of time and will be nothing for the rest of time. Here lies the memory of a human mass that existed before it was opened. After it was created. A skeletal structure and signs of dead organs. For no reason at all and nobody misses a person they never knew existed. This person might as well have never existed considering what difference it makes to anyone.
