Its absolutely staggering tearful,these pubs clubs are our kind of a museum history of our lands, a home from home for everyone, and kept you as a human a reason to live,a bit of banter a company to someone on there own and a social centre point,apart from employment, etc we should be preserving everyone ,,these are history just like our old island, everything in tradition,, history for future generations just like our of shops,,,why to god have we allowed them to destroy our lives,,and waste £$millions upon millions upon,,plastic facades"" God bless Terry your keeping history alive

@@ecotts God bless you friend to you and all your family,friends and everyone, no matter your colour creed faith, love peace and goodwill to all peoples,, yes friend it's so utterly sad history is broken down ,it's selfish monumental waste of gigantic money, resources,time love comfort,,we look back on b+w photographs video's etc with affection loving memories and sadness,of remembrance,regret etc where decisions of folly greed and selfishness have took away mans energy love in building that shop house home etc, and replaced a facade of plastic,false squareness, probably every town city village had it's beauty,a town hall, bridge, whatever replaced by something oh economical ?or something' to bring in MORE 💰 etc , and when people go on holidays to old distant country's,, they bring back reminiscing of old town halls churches cathedrals even markets," oh it was beautiful wonderful,when they all ready had those similar things in there own vicinity,but on a whim let's knock it down" build better" argh forget about money"???? Friend it's waste waste waste and I feel at times a space between god and the bible and the real important things in our lives. Reminds me many, many years ago when I was a child waiting at the door pub with a packet of crisps while my grand father had a pint inside.
Always somebody playing the piano and the only thing I wanted was to get in,but I was too young.
Few years later I was with my wife in this pub but the piano had been replaced by slot machine...what a sound.
