I’m an Exeter fan based in the West Midlands, so I was at the game too - glad you came and enjoyed it! We always travel well, already looking forward to more “local” away games - Port Vale in the 1st round of the Cup and Burton in February. You’re always welcome to come and stand with us in the away end and sing your heart out too!
Brilliant coverage!😀 Thanks for this! Exeter don’t get any coverage outside Exeter, so it’s nice a Baggies fan goes to the trouble of dedicating a vlog to the club. Many thanks again! Jimmy Reid. (Keep up the good work)
Thank you Jimmy. I was really impressed with your support last night. As I say I usually like to just stick to local non league games but I love experiencing football games at all levels.
Exeter is a great city a great county devon my dad is from Devon and mum from Suffolk grew up there have family in countess wear Exeter has always been my favourite city mate 👍
I remember going to the Baseball Ground some years ago for a mid week fixture and Exeter took around 20 fans, Derby were singing Loyal supporters to the Exeter fans, that's always stook with me
Yeah it was a frustrating day from a Derby fans perspective. Tbh we seem stuck in a strange place at the minute as we allowed Liam Rosinior to recruit in the summer. He built a team to play a slow build up, possession based game in a 4231, then we moved him on and brought in Warne who wants us to be a bit more aggressive and direct in a 352. So Warne is trying to fit square pegs in round holes and as you saw in the 1st half...it isn't going great 😂😂. There has to be some realism though, we had 5 players at the start of pre season and after last year I'm happy we've got a team that SHOULD finsh around the playoffs, maybe even sneaking in them. Also for what it's worth I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Exeter since we played them in a pre season game at there's years ago so it was great to play them in a league fixture, just wish the Rams would've won 😂
I can understand derby fans frustration to be honest! Some of my friends who are derby fans wanted to stick with Rosinior. Hopefully good days will return to pride park very soon, however like Ipswich, Sunderland and both Sheffield clubs have proved in recent years it could be a marathon not a sprint to get out of this division. I always enjoy going to pride park quality ground, with a nice Frankie and bennies outside the ground.
Hi will mate firstly great vlog and at full time the reason we were booing was at ref well that was what I was doing personally but we didn’t play well at all so perhaps some were booing the team off, we don’t seem to get behind the boys at home now I think it’s because we expect much more from the team to win games even though in reality it is a rebuild season compared to last season pride park was bouncing as we didn’t expect to win any games at the start of the season
Cheers for your support mate. That would make sense you booing the ref tbf, I presumed you was booing the team as that’s what a lot of West Brom fans do every week when we don’t get a positive result 😅👍
Will thanks for this great effort Boing Boing :) A couple of points : 1: The Derby fans were not booing the players although they did deserve it they were booing the officials and specifically the Ref who was awful, how Exeter Goalkeeper was still on the pitch after that rugby tackle ill never know ? The ref was way out of his league. It seems this was only his second game in league 1 and he has only had about 5 games in league 2 so inexperienced and absolutely useless. 2: Exeter did not nearly sell out the away end they had 1100 tickets for the away end that holds 3500 max. that said well played Exeter and well done their fans who also were great.
@@Morganecfc that may be true and we give you what you ask for, lots of clubs work on buy and no return policy. So if you ask for 3500 you buy 3500 and what you sell you get money for what you don’t sell that’s your problem. Not sure how Derby work with away sales but we offer up to 3500 away tickets for every game but only a few ever sell them all. We are lucky that the size of the club means we take the maximum and on the odd occasion we don’t sell it’s only a few tickets, like Portsmouth on a Friday night in winter and it’s on TV 😂 then again MK we were allocated 5000 then they gave us an additional 1500 and ended up with 6500 away fans at MK Dons, we have sold out the 5123 for Bolton on the 27th December, we had just over 6000 to Liverpool midweek in the cup. I went to Torquay and will be at Plymouth next month but mid week is tough due to work for many fans.
Went to the game and must say Exeter fans were amazing, great turn out for a Tuesday night and made some noise all game. Derby were awful worst performance for a long time well played Exeter. See you in April when we come down, shame you only give 1200 away fans allocation
Ah fair enough. He’s not a very popular man amongst the West Brom fanbase 😂 How’s Harper getting on? I was surprised to see him on the bench. When he was at West Brom he looked like a very talented footballer. I thought he would be one of the best players in the league one.

Well done! Great support! From a Posh fan in the Arab Gulf, hats off to you!
Great VLOG, thanks! I live in the Netherlands, so I can't get back to Derby so often.
Great vid again will .....super baggies 👏👏
Watching this game made a change. Hope the new WBA manager can awake the sleeping giant.
Fingers crossed he can will be successful at West Brom
Thanks I thought everyone would be slagging us off because we were celebrating for a draw

Very happy with it
Best away fans not even filled half your allocation

Derby are a massive away day for city fans.
See how many go to Morecombe, or Fleetwood.
Derby away is probably most of theirs ONLY
away day. 💚💚💚
Thanks for the cove4age mate up the exeter
Best away fans in league 1 No Way.
fair play for bringing the numbers but celebrating a draw where you created very little like youve won the league was a bit odd.
We call him Jev not Izzy 😂

Derby have won the English title in the past.
I support Aberdeen in Scotland.
Surely a joke
Nearly sold out the end….only 2k short 🤡
They get an allocation of a ticket amount…
