Fitting buying guide for HD 5/11 Cage:
This machines uses M22-14MM. Make sure it is NOT M22-15MM as water will leak unless stated universal.
I use 1/4in Quick Connect/Quick Disconnect for Nozzle and 3/8in for hose
Stock Karcher HD5/11 Cage (110bar | 8.3 liter/m) nozzle is 25 Degree, 036 Nozzle.

(You cannot use smaller than stock nozzle as the machine will overload, cut off feature will make the machine stutter)

Thanks for sharing! Is the flow rate near manufacturers claim? Or you can increase it by using larger orifice such as 040 or 050. Btw 040 is 3.0 and 050 is 4.0.
Hi. Flow rate cannot be changed. Generally these machines has pump that run at constant speed with certain size piston. So that is fixed. With same flow rate, you increase nozzle size it output the same flow rate with ease. If you use smaller nozzle it will try to maintain flow rate, up until their limit pressure. And it will cut off.
@@CarcareenaDetailing yes my test also yield same result. You can’t pump more than its claim. However, the closest I can get to manufacturer’s claim is without a nozzle. Just pumping water out of outlet. When I put 050 it’s the closest I can get. With 030 (stock), it’s actually quite far off. 6.7l/m vs 7l/m. Quite disappointing tbh. How about ur test? U able to get near 500l/h?
@@haikuancheoh2418 in did test in this video 7:20 it came around the claimed specs. Using the standard nozzle.

Very detailed information in your video and I appreciate the hard work you did on testing the limit of the machine. Do you know if this unit has the total start stop system?
Thanks Chris, what do u mean by total start stop? As far as my observation, motor starts when it detect low pressure, and stop when detect high pressure (when trigger depressed, or nozzle too small)

Hi Bro, actually oil change tu bukan consider compulsory maintenance. if rasa pakai kerap tu tuka je la minyak. seals tu kalau leak boleh dapat parts kat service center. oil change tak silap dalam RM100 kot bro try tanya Karcher SC. Benda ni possible buat sendiri kalau nak lepas warranty. Saya beli fittings tu kat Shopee. nanti saya update description utk link dia. Mesin ni pakai M22-14mm.

Salam. How about noise level dari motor? In comparison to induction motor, mana yang lagi bising?
Saya tak expert pasal motor. Yang saya faham 5/11 ni guna induction motor. Motor dia besar should run RPM lebih rendah berbanding K series. Berat pon 20kg. So bunyi dia lower pitch. Bila guna, air spray kat nozzle tu lagi bising dari motor. So kalau nak conplain bising kat nozzle dari motor.

Mjjc foam cannon bila beli boleh pilih m22-14 atau 1/4inch QD. Sbb saya dah convert pakai 1/4 pada gun so MJJC saya pakai 1/4 je.

Hi. Max pressure is 110bar. I saw this reading at karcher SC using the standard nozzle. That is the spec as well. The stated 160bar is non usable one i think that is for when gun shut off it will tell motor to shut off. 110bar is not the highest in the market but this machine has large water flow water rate. Really depends on what you need to clean. I use to clean floow around house i think ok
I was looking at P model as well. Seems like same spec, but it come with wheel and fancier gun and quick fittings.

@@arielshinobi3561 just looked on google 585 is 88 bar vs 110 on 511. With similar flow rate. For me the 5/11 is ok. I use after market nozzle rated even lower than 110 bar with 45 degree fan pattern. So its even gentler to the car. If i need more concentration i use narrower nozzle. With same pressure, it makes it more agressive. I dont have performance issue with 511. At least for washing normal car and doing some house cleaning

Wsalam. Currently guna lebig besar dari 1.2. Tak silap 1.4. 5/11 ni hanya boleh bawak 110 bar, saya punya 1.2 orifice dia akan cut off mesin tu kadang2.

Not bad jugak. Saya suka flowrate dia tinggi. Cuma pressure dia tak la tinggi sgt limit kat 110bar. Kalau nak main tuka nozzle pakai foam lance, make sure nozzle size betul. Kalau tak dia over pressure dia jadi macam jerking. Kelemahan dia tak ada soft start macam kranzle. So bila tekan gun tu menendang sikit la 😝
Teringin gak nak beli hd5/11, induction motor kan? kalau kata karcher pressure wash yg kurang bising, model apa ye?
Alamak saya tak ingat dah bunyi K2 macam mana. Tapi yang saya faham mesin macam hd5/11 ni guna motor besar. Moto besar ni berpusing pada rpm rendah so frequencybunyi dia rendah. Bila saya tekan gun tu bunyi air keluar dari nozzle gun tu lagi kuat dari motor dia.

Saya rasa mmg sesuai. Flow rate tinggi senang loose kan dirt. Pressure pun cukup kuat.

@@wakepoljawa saya rasa boleh try tune orifice size. Bagi match dgn spec pressure washer. Penting nozzle size ni sbb setiap machine flow rate dan pressure berbeza.
Couldn't understand your language, so here are a couple of questions. Are you happy with the pressure generated by this machine? Is the pressure enough to get off the dirt and mud from car? how long can it run continuously?

Hey. Thanks for dropping by!. Pressure wise for car wash is more than enough. I never wash a 4x4 that has thick dry mud so cant comment on that extend. But i think still not safe for car if too high pressure. Keep in mind with that pressure you can still tweak the nozzle pattern to get more agression. The only problem with only 110 bar is when using random foam cannon. You have to make sure the orifice is not too small otherwise it will over pressure and machine will kick back. Just get the right orifice its fine. According to karcher website it can run 1-2 hrs.

@@CarcareenaDetailing how long have you been using it for? What about the servicing of this motor, did you ever faced any breakdown?
@@calmasutra i own it about almost a year. I do have bad experience. Issue come form factory. 1st unit upon open the box, oil is already leaking, the second unit has issue with water leaking then found out that there are missing some seals from factory. After back and forth with the service center that machine seems working great. I do make my machine run over pressure sometimes (to check if im using the correct after market nozzle size) what will happen is the machine wil cut of so it runs like pulsing. Because of this machine do not have soft start, the rapid on-off causing the cooling fan to undo itself and later it will hit the plastic casing. This can be fix by pushing the fan back in. As long as it is running at its 110bar limit i think this machine is good. Just measure the pressure generated if you put after market orifice/nozzle. Now i know what nozzle/orifice i can use for this machine, its working just fine.
