Just heard this the other day. WOW love the music, singing, and lyrics. I am a 68 Lakota woman who was adopted at the age of 3. I am still trying to learn my heritage. Songs like this really help me feel connected.🥰

this song reminds me of who and where I came from. . ..a native brought up in a white foster home, feeling lost and alone. . . . then I finally made my way home to my rez. . . cycle complete. . .

My bf and his dad never heard the song before, I'm like seriously?..lol anywho, once i played the CD they replayed this song all the ways from SASK/MONTANA Border till we got to Helena Montana..That was quite a distance.. But Its was all good.. Because we had the Indian Drums playing all the ways.. FYI.. this was 11 summers ago.. Reminds me of them today. Love my husband WMP and my father in law FP.
