Tasting the Simply Pale Ale Beer Kit

Dont be fooled by the simple packaging.
Inside, they malt extract makes a good beer. Lots of malty biscuit flavours and a stone fruit plumy gentle sweetness. The right amount of bitterness for a pale. A nice golden colour with a good head.
This beer was quite lively for us, so next time I’ll drop the priming sugar by 25g.
If you like a traditional english pale ale, then brew this kit.
We used a pouch of light malt extract, so this beer has lots of body and a little extra sweetness.
If you want it a little thinner, then use a bag of beer enhancer
Or of you like your beers thin and light, then use just sugar.
