Lot finds himself in a very sinful region which God is going to destroy. Even so, he is slow to escape the coming judgment. Why?

@@leroyh8977 you really need to read your Bible . The people on this planet are now evolving into the evil that always happens just before God steps in and sends destruction . It’s a cycle and it constantly repeats itself as shown throughout the Bible . That’s why the penalty is so severe. However God is very patient and allows a lot of time to go by before He strikes giving opportunity for people to change their minds and repent before the event .
