Yes, it’s been a 100 years but with the dorama release I’m doing my job here to remind and warn anyone who was cheering for these two on the anime to please go check the manga cause it goes WILD and ryu is BEST BOY
ESPECIALLY if this couple is your fave the follow up is CRAZY GOOD, there’s so much depth to ryu’s silent ways and how Chizu misplaced wanting to be with by ryus side forever by marrying his brother and all of chizuru struggle after ryus confession and how demanding he is about her stopping the “were brothers” Act and just seeing them as boy and girl and her Seeing him as a man who is in love with her - you won’t be able to see oniguiris in a non emotional way for the rest of your life. Also unlike kazehaya ryus possessiveness and all the stuff he keeps under his “cool patient” Personality are very blunt and straight forward the moment he decides that he will go for Chizu and she will deal with it (it’s respectful always but while the main couple takes like 16 volumes to kiss) Chizu and ryu are on the go from day one to the point that she doesn’t even really know if they’re dating or not cause they just go For it (after a lot of drama) meaning it’s a great contrast and these two characters work so well both alone and as a couple and as being the support system for the other cause heads up ryu has a crazy sad background
