As someone who lived in Portland for the last 3 years and spent 3 weeks in France in October, I love your videos. Getting to see the PNW and France on the regular are like getting to see and experience both from my Canadian home. Makes them feel a little closer then they are. Thanks Jay!

They evoked the same feelings with me and my two grandmothers- one in Boston and one in Toulouse- both magical creatures (and instinctive gourmets) who created comforting food throughout the day and potions at bedtime. Enjoy your stay in Spokane- I like seeing all your travels. I'm actually going there tomorrow to see Metallica.I haven't been there in years, so I appreciated your camera work and the airborne views.

I grew up in Missoula, and my son and his family live in Post Falls, ID. I don't know Pizza Pipeline, but will find it the next time I am in Spokane. Love that you are going home to see your Grandmother for her birthday - give her our best wishes. My Mother-in-Law is turning 90 in December as well. Have a great time in the NW. I still love Missoula and the passes going to Spokane - CDA is also beautiful. Keep the vlogs flowing.

Funny, why is it you pronounce Spokane with a short A. Most Americans I met, if the subject came up, pronounce it like a cane. At least you had some snow, not likely to happen this December for me, sadly.
I thought it was "cane" too! Theres a song by Ray Lamontagne "jolene" where he pronounces it this way. But hes from the northeast, they all talk funny. Haha( says the girl from the south)
Lots of Americans mispronounce it. There was an AT&T or cingulair commercial a decade ago with Luke Wilson and he pronounced it correctly and everyone freaked out because usually that doesn't happen 😂
