In the last time, I often thought about how to get a good 'frankenstein-darts' replica set. I found the designa Ultralites in 16g, which are slightly longer and heavier, but also similar to the Nodor-800-Series-Darts you once reviewed and highly recommend. So I'll try them out with the 51mmblack points and see, if they do fly as well as your goodies. Have a good time! All the best to your dog! Greetings!
Great video and nice shooting. You shoot better than me for the most part. It wasn’t the points that misses the doubles it was you! No blaming the equipment. After all you can bang out 180’s with any dart!
If the darts are a bit bizarre I think someone could certainly blame the equipment. These aren't your typical darts by any means. Either way it was still an 83 avg with only 25% on the dubs. I'll take that any day of the week
@@WorldwideDarts I think you shot quite well. Those points are a bit on the extreme side but I do still like them personally. I’m not sure if I would ever play a match with points this long but I do shoot them on the regular at my house.
Hi , I've got some 50mm points coming to just try in a set . With regards to bounce outs I was told that the point should be like a ball point pen round at the point so if it hit a wire it would slide off and go either side of the wire . I also like to rough up the side of the point on a stone so the point grips into the board . Were the points you used smooth ? Great video as always . Cheers G W
Worldwide, I received the 43mm points I ordered the other day. I measured them and they are in fact 43mm in length. I installed a set on one of my sets of darts; they are approx 37-37 1/2mm installed. I threw them a few times; they stick good with zero fallouts and are pretty sharp. Overall I would say they are ok, but I want to try some 36mm and 38mm points for comparison. Have a good weekend.
Thanks. I see you're in the USA. Some of these videos might be a real eye opener. Especially when it comes to the price of darts and how affordable they really are.
@@WorldwideDarts they have totally changed my dart shopping - no more A-Z for me. Dartshopper and Dart’s Corner are amazing! Would have never found them without your videos. Just bought a set of KOTO darts to experiment with and a repointing tool + Red Dragon Raptor points
Hey that wasn't so bad to be honest WWD 👍 I got 3x 100s one after the other and lost on my checkout game this week 😑 Gonna go play some double in double out games and get my doubles upto scratch
Thanks. For this setup I used my Cosmo stuff. Fit Flight Pro V-1 with a locked carbon #3 stem. Normally I tend to use an L-Style Bullet flight and a Harrows Supergrip Carbon stem. Intermediate length
Do you have any recommendations when it comes to dartboard stands? I can't seem to find much information about which ones are any good. given you have a fixed setup, probably not, but I'd thought I'd ask anyway. Good shooting by the way.
Thanks. It's fairly limited here in the USA. I'm only assuming you're in the USA because you said "shooting". You'd have to refer to "the most common mistake" video I just uploaded for that. I know Dartshopper carries them and they have the fastest shipping in the business. Anything KOTO is amazing! www.dartshopper.com/stands/
@@WorldwideDarts I'm actually from the UK. It just seemed more appropriate in your case to use the term 'shooting'. I was going to quote the line from RoboCop "Nice shooting son. What's your name?". There are very few reviews or articles about dartboard stands, so trying to identify one which is the best both in terms of quality and value for money is proving to be as elusive as Michael Smith winning a major title. Thanks for replying.
@@jaysmith2858 Everything I've ever seen so far about KOTO is top notch quality. I would have no hesitation ordering it. I also have no affiliation with them nor do I get any sort of discount at all with them. But man, they make some REALLY nice stuff. Problem though... I think because of the Brexit thing they don't ship to the UK. In that case I'd have a look at Darts Corner and roll the dice with the Designa one they offer. You can add in the discount code newslettersignup to save an extra 10%. Can't go wrong at that price. If you do get one PLEASE give me an update after using it for a bit so I'm able to pass that info along to others. Cheers Jay
Great match, But have to work on your doubles. I have been replacing my points from a 26 mm or 30 mm, with a 36 mm. that make them a nice tossing dart, at a 34 mm. Any longer goes nose down, wobbles, deflects off board. 40mm i just cant toss them. they go side ways for some reason. longest point i would try is a 38 mm, It would come out to a 36 mm, and i could live with that. WW great review on points and this vid. Come Monday I will NOT watch because i dont like wayne merrill and I do not promote anything he is affiliated with. best of luck. See you wensday.

Love such videos as we are not just seeing your great triple 20s, bullseyes and 180s.
I've been using these 51mm points in my Simon Whitlock darts. I absolutely love that combination together.
Nicely done! I’m definitely going to get a few different types of long points to try on my next order.

yesssss! brilliant darts my friend
Great video hat do you know you best avg in a game of 501 and best mark per round in cricket?
In a best of 11 I threw a 103.66. I just missed a 140 checkout to win in the last leg and it would have been a 105. In cricket I have no idea
@@WorldwideDarts 103? Omg how 😭 I’m lucky if I get a 10.3

I just throw randomly for about 5-10 minutes and then jump right into a match.
