    Thanks, Karen, good to see you back. It would be very helpful if you could show the names of the places you are visiting below so we can know how to spell / pronounce and find them when visiting Queretaro.

    Great to see a new video on this channel. I was in Queretaro, San Miguel D Allende and Guadalajara during Christmas/New Year 2023. Had a lot of fun. Lots of walking. Went on tour bus and ate at many delicious restaurants. San Miguel was toooo much. So much traffic and foreigners. Queretaro was better - very calm and family oriented. Great to see Karen is still going.

    Thank you for your video. I am interested in teaching in Mexico. I am from the Chicago area in the US. I have looked at different areas of Mexico and keep coming back to Queretaro. My concern is that cities in Mexico are becoming more expensive. I am interested to know if Queretero is still affordable for a teacher. It seems like a beautful city.

    • @LaKarencitaMX
      @LaKarencitaMX  8 месяцев назад

      Things are definitely a lot more expensive now. Mexico was never a place where people could get rich teaching but if it was unaffordable for a teacher to live here, there would be no teachers!
      It is fair to say that a teacher would probably not enjoy the same standard of living that many retirees and digital nomads have.

    when you said that Pulque was drank by the Aztecs this would be true, But 1000 years before the Aztecs Pulque was being enjoyed by the Olmecs in Veracruz, the Mother people of Mexico. Hola from Coatepec...

    Great video! I went to Mercado de la cruz on my last visit. Is safe for me to go to el type by myself a single black woman? Also what neighborhoods would you recommend to live other than the usual ones you hear about? I don't need to be near centro, or alot of expats. Traditional type colonias with ability to shop locally and walk. Budget 2 million for a house to buy. My husband is Mexican we looking for place to retire
