Thank you Example for this incredible EP. You truly set an example of how great hip hop can sound. This inspired me to make an own album to process the past and transition into a new life. Really grateful for you guys 🙏🏽💎 Thank you Beat Blasta for the upload. 🙏🏽
By far this is the most slept on album in the history of underground hip hop. And I am an rap historian. Ridiculously well put together. Production, lyrics, synchronicity, scheme, and plot. This is one of my favorites. And Slow Motion is the anchor in my opinion.
The intro is ironically my favorite part. Something about how hypnotic, mellow, and beautiful it is describes this EP perfectly. I would do anything to get an extended intro, even for just another minute, id sell my soul deadass lmfao
Just discovered this EP about a month ago and can't stop listening to it daily. Crazy how much incredible talent there is to discover even after so many years. This still shits on all this new stuff being produced. I wish there was more of this, thank you for the dope ass tracks. 🖤🔥
Recollect and Slow Motion are so good, they remind me of living in Brisbane last year, I met some great people and spent a lot of time with friends chilling, getting messy and listening to some great music, I miss those times
Same but as it says in recollect: "we gotta say goodbye to this crazy life we're living." This whole album inspired me to make an own one to process and let go of the past times. 🙏🏽
Amazing EP. The vibe takes me back to my teenage years, where i listened to random records in the summer and let beats and rhymes be connected with moments from my life!!!
I was so happy last night when this morning on the songs from this album popped up on a mix I was listening to on RUclips I forgot all about this album. I've already listened to it six times since last night!! This is pin point perfect rap music.. nobody can f*** with this s*** everybody else is Racing for second place!! Lol
7*26*96 is mad dope! Every time I'm chillin on "that side" of RUclips I get this instant hit of nostalgia and middle school. It's powerful stuff. On the other hand saving up for a couple of records and this is next!
Oh my.. this ep is so so so good! Laid back beats, lyrics with actual content and great instrumentals. Slow motion.. probably one of the best Hip Hop tracks I've ever heard. Still searching for an actual copy I can listen to with my mk2.

Recollect
Never thought I could or would
Say goodbye to this lifestyle of mine
Caught up in the rhyme
A dreamer roamin' in the streets
Yo it seems that the shit will never change
But we gotta do things 'cause yo I got a queen
Look into her eyes, frustration
Told her that I was out of line
Get some kids of mine in a one story house in the tray
My own little dream, now reality at the present
Learnin' lessons by the second
Grab the microphone like I'ma wreck it
Relapse into depression
Regrets to the dues and abuse in my youth
To the non believers
The overseers gonna guide us to a new horizon
While the eagle's be collidin', me and Ciph gotta do this drive
Yo we gotta keep the focus
We gotta do the best at what we're known to do
We say goodbye to the stress
{Hook}
Never thought I'd do it

{Verse 2: Dekay}
We way out there, we way out there
We gotta get some money nigga
Or pull the trigger everytime my vocal hit the speaker
Feelin' weak 'cause I've been sick for too much
Can't afford no medication, O.J. and toilet tissue
It's time to say goodbye to the same old thing
{?} hold your head high
Be aware the good lies in every situation you're faced with
I know 'cause with 20 somethin' years on this planet
Went from homebound to all around the world in a day
Cuss other player, Example's cuttin' through the layers
To get to the core, you see it's in the nature to be the best
No more no less, we on a mission
To say goodbye to stress and take control of how we livin'

We gotta say goodbye to this crazy life we livin'

I can recollect, remember in the winter
The fall of '93 show me W.S.C
Thoughts of secondary education
To fulfill the dreams of American's far up and wide
The dream ain't mine
My words and rhyme forms, immaculate like the son of Jehovah
Time to say goodbye 'cause you know we barely gettin' over
Smokin' swisher sweets in my dorm room
Lookin' at these food chocolates, athletic
Sometimes they come in threes
Put your ass, now youse a better man over women
But you didn't see it comin'
That's why we had to say goodbye
Take the corner back, the soft talkin' southern Mac Daddy
Yo we only got played one time
Bad choice of Kitty Kat
She shared the name of a whole nation
Crews and Caucasians left with no debatin'
I never had a chance to express myself
He never had a chance to express himself
We never had a chance to express ourselves
But we glad you gone 'cause it's on
Thanks man
Thank you 🙏🏽

It was written in the land of players
Gangsters, gats and pimps
Two niggas on a mystic voyage
The evolution of a quote that we growed up with
From white lines to super speed, multi platin
Effectuation with the THC and {?} is how I see in our {?}
20 ounce of Arizona, youse a goner
When I get my pen and paper, start to driftin'
I gotta cut for your crates, beats and rhymes
If it never fails it never fails everytime

Checkin' through the lifestyles of the poor unanimous niggas
With the vision, paralyze MC's in all direction
Easy checkin', like scan tron
