You saved a feral cat from being left behind. After two hours of playing his and seek and she is obviously winning, we thought of rigging a dog catcher pole. Thanks so much for this. We didn’t have all the parts other than a pvc pipe and an extension cord. It worked nevertheless. This is a super useful video 👍
That was great, I rescue street dogs from time to time, coaxing them to get close can take hours, and sometimes they're close to 4 or 6 Lane highways and I'm scared to approach them or spook them where they may run out into the highway and get hit by a car. This pole I think would be great to use if I can get close enough. I am sure they won't like it but I can apologize when they are safe.
Perfect!! I need something like this to remove dead fern fronds along the edges of a pond with a deep, steep slope (either having to lean out of a boat to get to them or lay on my belly on the ground and reach down for them...really no fun either way). Been trying to think of a good way to do this from the ground that's faster, safer and easier. I'm hoping this is it ☺
Thanks for the video - I have always wondered how these things work ? so thought I'd check on Y/T - it was the release part I could never understand ( or figure out ) as I've never seen one up close , so thanks again this answered my query and showed me how they work . I'll never need one though my mutts / dogs come as soon as they see me open their treat tin LOL . thanks again.
Thank you for the idea, however, 1/2” PVC is way too flimsy. I’m going to suggest at least 3/4 or 1 inch GREY Conduit. It is much tougher, and doesn’t cost much more. The whole idea is to be able to CONTROL that Animal, when you catch it...not get bitten by it 😃👍
Just wondering if you or someone could come up with a “safe set-up” so I could exercise my Cane Corsos with my lifted and street legal golf cart. I believe someone has manufactured a similar one, but the cost is excessive for me. Thank you.
So many thanks! For this tutorial. I have to save stray dog that my neighborhood wanna kill, he just so affraid to me but he always stay around my house, because i gave him food and he play with all my dogs. I already succeed to trap him at my shed. Just need to move him to my dog cage ( its big cage with my other dogs inside it, it is safe or they will fight ? ) so thanks again bro. ( INDONESIA )

The problem is that the PVC pipe isn't rigid enough to keep an angry dog at bay, too bendy.
Thank you! I had skunks make their way in my shop behind an 8' wall and have no idea how to get them out. Thanks again!
Good video. Makes great to have around the house. I started saving 6 neighborhood cats July 2021. Some of them have came up missing
