      You will need the Futaba version for it.

    What would you recommend today: DriftArt 3S, BMR-X, or DRZ3? I have an old DRZ v1 but used to have a hard to finding replacement parts

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  10 месяцев назад +3

      I haven't got the DRZ3 yet. Between DA3S and BMR-X, it's DA3S all the way.
      From what I gathered DRZ3 is also good but the chassis is a bit too wide for a Mini-Z narrow body. If you intend to use a narrow body then DA3S is your only choice. Otherwise it's down to availability near you.

    Building mine now, the transmission drive shaft is different. Mine is tapered on the end and has a notch near the end of the other, I guess for a set screw. The directions show the part you have and I have no idea which way the shaft goes

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  10 месяцев назад

      Is this the bit that goes into the diff? All 4 shafts should be the same but you can test and see which pairs go together. Then use that pair on the same side of the car.

      @@BeaversHobby no it was the shaft for the large pully, I figured it out and am almost finished building it.

    Beaver what size is the red tool your using ? I am building no this kit I have an .050 but it’s way to big. Can’t find anything small enough to replace the tiny L hex included in the kit. Just wondering what size and tool is that you’re using ?

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  6 месяцев назад +1

      It's the 0.9mm hex head. If I need to push a pin then it's either 0.9 or 0.7mm. If the head is too big then you can sand it a bit so it fits.

    Hey Beaver i need your help.
    Wich one should i get
    Atomic amz 2wd and get the steering angle out by moding.
    Or K969 and do the same with the steering?
    Or should i get rtr amz 2wd kit?.
    Or should i get them all and go after that for rhe atomic drz 3ms?
    Thx and i hope i hear from you soon.

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  9 месяцев назад

      If you want a RWD drifter then just go with DRZ3 right away. Modding route can be difficult and not guaranteed to work. Unless you are on a very tight budget and have plenty of time and tools to do so.

    Hi Beaver, do you think ATOMIC DRZ3MP-KIT for 175€ is better than Da3s for 225€? I know that Da3s is the best but, value for price in this case?

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, DRZ provides better value.

    • @david9778
      @david9778 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@BeaversHobby thanks, i think drz3 is good option for that price, probably less profesional chasis than da3s, but enjoyable, right?

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@david9778 DRA3 is as professional as DA3S. I'd say the chassis and components are actually more professionally made than DA3S. Everything are either aluminium part or molded plastic, not 3D printed.
      DA3S has 3D printed parts, although the process and materials are top notch... it's still a half 3D printed car.

    • @david9778
      @david9778 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@BeaversHobby Wow, I didn't know that, so a DRZ3 is more recommended, in terms of manufacturing quality, than a Drift Art DA3S. Thanks for the information. In terms of driving, would you say they are similar?

    • @BeaversHobby
      @BeaversHobby  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@david9778 I haven't got the DRZ3 yet so I can't fully comment on the driving but based on how Atomic does stuffs I'd say it's similar or can be tuned to drive close to DA3S.
