Yo Zach! This is the best advice I can give you, so I never drove a manual till I was 19 years old. I drove this guy home who had a little to much to drink. He taught me along the way in his Nissan hard body 4x4. The words that stuck in my mind was a scale. The balance between the two. When one goes in match the outward motion on the clutch and if you really sit and think about it you will get it brother! I got new parts for my teggy build as well!!

Dude you guys remind me of me and my dad a few moths ago when I was learning to drive stick. Cool tip, when he can consistently start from a stop have him try to start moving but have him keep the handbrake engaged. You will feel the car want to pull itself forward and then tell him to clutch in. Then have him do it again but when the car starts to want to pull forward have him ease off the handbrake while letting off the clutch and rolling onto the gas. Once he masters this he can use this technique to start the car on a hill without rolling backwards and when he is ready he can use this skill to launch his car.

  • @jdc6927

Seat time, get the feel of the clutch down and throttle and clutch balance down properly. Snow is coming in about two months, that would help teach throttle management a bit better.

I didn't think there was a worse sounding car than a Subaru, they sound like a misfire and it's horrible. But an integra that sounds like a Subaru, I can see why the exhaust is not your favorite lol. Like the car, just not it's exhaust note
