Jan 3 2024 went to ER for back pain, knew it was something deeper, I had an ultrasound, ovarian cyst left ovary. Radiologist says possible cancer. Next morning I-got a call from oncologist gynecologist, went to visit five days later, she was sure it was cancer. I prayed for clarity and my heart I believe it wasn’t cancer and this doctor wanted to secure a surgery. I found a specialist who team views the cyst and all said it wasn’t in the groupings of cancer or suspicious. I was offered surgery because it was getting larger and because I had a hysterectomy previously and it would make since to an ovoid future issue. I agreed as the cyst small (almond size) I’m recovering now 11 days post op
I’m in the “other” category. Persistent growing solid complex cyst with vascularity since 2021. Solid nodule has grown from 1.8cm to 3.5cm but negative CA125. Was finally offered surgery to remove this! I have it next week. Fingers crossed that it’s benign

@@Missymarie24 Recovering nicely but pathology came back as a Serous Borderline Ovarian Tumour so may need repeat surgery to remove the other ovary
