Thompson River Hot Lap | ~6.5 minutes through huge slides

Tucked away in the blessed Jocassee Drainage the Thompson River is known for massive, low consequence slides and super easy access. The run's super short and after doing a couple laps Ryan Mcavoy and I decided to go straight through for a lap to see how quick we could make it to the lake from the put-in. Would be epic to see a race on this one day, such an accessible stretch with some of the fastest speeds youll hit in a kayak in the southeast.
