※ This has been an ongoing issue for me, but I don’t really know how to translate 来 (lai / come) in most contexts. Its usage can be something like "let's do this" or “bring it on”, except (in my opinion) for most instances, both of those phrases are too aggressive. "Bring it on" just makes it sound like you’re picking a fight lmao. I’ve been translating it literally, but while the meaning can still be understood in English, people don’t usually say “come” in the same contexts that they might in Chinese. Or at least, I don't think so...translating has made me feel like I need to relearn English...
